I'm assuming this thread will come into it's own tomorrow but there are many games to look at today, starting with The Charming Man's trip to Goodison.

West Ham look really flat. Everton could/should have been at least two up by now.

Just think, we could be 4th by time we play and, God forbid, 5th by close of play!

Villa v Brighton
Bournemouth v Norwich
Chelsea v Newcastle
Leicester v Burnley
Spurs v Watford
Wolves v Saints

Just looked at the in-match PL table, Rags in 15th!

The mind is in turmoil. Part of it sits happy with our last two titles and wouldn't mind the Rags getting further ground into the dust tomorrow.

Once not long ago I thought I'd never see us win the league again in my lifetime - I was 7 in 1968 - how good a bonus would it be to see a repeat of the Denis Law moment? After all the shit we put up with in the 90s especially.

Interesting turnaround where we are looking at them being the plucky underdog who can do us a favour by beating Liverpool.

How things have changed.

Rags are now 16th in live table, Saints leading at Wolves

Spuds score with a handball. Unsurprisingly it’s given

Sounds like VAR has just allowed Spurs a goal where the ball hit an arm, similar to the one we had disallowed against them. Fuckin farce.

You can lean your shoulder into a ball to gain control???

Can't believe VAR didn't take that back.

Apparently in the Stadium it was given as 'No goal'

So a team , funded by a betting consortium , somehow get a goal when VAR reports no goal ?

What about those guys betting on a 1-0 defeat?

How can you get a display on the screen 100% wrong?

If you ever needed conclusive evidence of the campaign against City being waged with VAR, that Spurs goal is it.

Thompson on Sky Sports was truly gobsmacked by this. Sounds like Watford also had a stonewall penalty not given either. Referee had a dreadful day

Obviously the PL and Sky were having a brew at the time and only gave the call so late due to having to run back for the Rich Tea.
