Ted Hughes RIP

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Ted Hughes RIP

Postby Plain Speaking » Thu Feb 25, 2021 6:03 pm

There was a very good poster on this forum, for many years, called "Ted Hughes". He left a number of years ago, I don't know why, but he posted later on Bluemoon under the name "Neville Kneville."

He has sadly recently died aged only 59. I've linked the thread on BM if anyone wants to leave a message?

RIP

Wow. His name only came up in another thread the other day about posters who no longer post but who are missed

He was definitely one who fits this bill. Reading the messages from that BM link paints much the same picture

RIP Ted/Nev/Tony

Desperately sad news, only 59!!!

I remember his in depth posts well and his steadfast defence of them when challenged, he stood by his beliefs whether you agreed or not.

No idea he was also a very talented musician (that's him on guitar with the long hair)

Wow can’t believe this after recent posts about where Ted was . Brilliant poster who knew his football and had a sense humour who got involved with just about every thread on here when the site was a lot busier back in the day when City started to overtake the rags etc . Thought he was older than 59 just goes to show , he will be sadly missed a proper legend indeed .
RIP Ted / Nev

Join the queue mate! I think he argued with just about everyone and I’m sure he left because he had a big argument with another poster, and a few other posters backed the person he was arguing with so he got off.

RIP to a fellow blue.
