Gundo bye bye?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Gundo bye bye?

Postby dick dastardley » Mon May 16, 2022 6:28 pm

Rumours are city have told him they cannot guarantee regular games next season and is free to find another club.
Dunno how true but has been a decent player for us in many games.
And must mean we're getting a midfielder in or the kids will get play time next season

Good luck to him. Didn’t like him when he first came and was played in Fern’s position - he did his best Nigel Clough impression a few times.

But after that he’s been great. Top professional, does a load for charity, never caused us any bother. Wish him all the best.

He also massively stepped up when Kev was injured on a number of occasions.

Strange timing. Why would anything be said now? Is it the dipper media trying to unsettle us? I mean it’s important week of season and leaks that our vice captain has been told he can go. Seems odd. Still a class player.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Possibly so he can get a send off next Sunday? Otherwise we’d not have known.

I like the thought of that. Top man and top player once we put him in his true position. Never let us down and never any trouble. Thanks Gundo all the best

My favourite memory was the pinger of a free kick against Brighton on the last day to give us breathing space.

I guess the players and staff will have known anyway so it will not be unsettling.
Top man, top player, great for us.
Wishing him all the best.

I think he will develop into a great manager.
My guess he is going back to Dortmund.

and Bellingham the other way ?

Would be nice

Ps:

Gündo has regularly gifted to the club he started out at and the area from where he comes in Germany. He is well liked.

Been a great asset for City.

If Leeds go down what about Kalvin Phillips? I’ve not seen enough of him personally.

Me neither

But I’d be reluctant to buy a player from a relegated club
