The best player in the world for at least 2 years now.

Any justice and he will win the balon dor.

Lets hope its not a bad injury but we desperately need cover there.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,

Better than Bousquet. Best defensive midfielder the Premier league has ever seen.

But Walker said that Rodri is riddled with flaws so it’s weird that he won that

So, League Winner, SuperCup Winner, Club WC Winner, European Winner.

He has to be, because, this is how the midget won it instead of Erling, it was in the football season, not the full year. So in 2023-2024, which ended last night, Rodri was top dog.

PS: Remember his first season here? And see him now.
That is Pep. Workrate and having the best manager you could have. Lesson for many who are here or chose to refuse us to go to other clubs.

He clattered in to Laporte. Hope that didn’t do too much damage. Are we set up to cope without him for say six weeks with a hamstring injury during the season? If not why aren’t we in the market for a DM?

That's quite an exaggeration - He just said he has flaws like all players do and it will be England's responsibility to try to exploit them - was a pretty much stock / scripted answer.

At the end of the day it was Spain who exploited England's weaknesses at full back.

I didn’t hear any stock/scripted answer from Rodri on Walker or Stones’ flaws. Maybe Walker needs to keep his mouth shut and his dick in his pants.

I wonder what his flaws are. I’ve yet to see them.

Sometimes he is on a fire hence producing a sensation of petrification in the people around him that are not in the same squad and defend their own goal.

The only time I've seen him show any weakness (apart from his first season when he was getting settled) was his temperament to get sent off earlier in the season - he seems to have sorted that out now though - He has to win the b'alon dor he's the best player in the world right now

It should be a priority regardless of whether rodders is injured or not. Pref someone who can play beside him in certain matches too.

If we don't bring in real help for him this window it will be fuck up that will rate 10 times greater fuck up than letting Palmer go or signing Nunes.

There’s absolutely no reason that Rico can’t do that role against the lesser teams to give Rodri a rest. That role isn’t about pace it’s about intelligence, and Rico has that.

All the nonsense about him not being strong enough, when he’s been training kick boxing at his dad’s gym since he was 3, is ridiculous.

Let him learn.

I can remember certain people, still posting, ridiculing Pep for signing and playing him, calling him 'the Crane'.

 guilty as charge, but did not say anything about Pep, just called him a Crane.
Same as Foden, no doubt he read the forum.

You are welcome.

People were writing off Foden while he was coming through. Our POTY now.

As football fans we’re all guilty of it.

Against lesser teams? Its not the lesser teams we need to worry about. There are not many easy games in the league. I love Rico and firmly believe he has a very bright future, but I am not so sure he is good enough to deputise for Rodri in a difficult league game just yet.

The league is crap mate  Bar the top 6 most of the teams at the Etihad just sit until they concede that first goal and then just give up. They don’t attack us. Rico in that role against lesser teams at home would barely have anything to do.

I agree, I don’t think any of our players are ready to deputise for Rodri in a difficult league game.

Hopefully Pep gives him pre-season and charity shield at 6. Wouldn't do him any harm.
