Dreading it

Historically a graveyard for us even when we've been playing well. In the last 12/13 years they have finished higher than us in the PL one time yet we have the solitary win.

Much has been said and written about our recent performances and results and it's not been pretty. The optimist in me says all bad runs come to an end sometime and why not today. And the Cityitis voice in me says we'll get a usual beating and quite possibly a bad one.

Let's see what happens and let's see how much desire and fight we have left in the tank. Would happily take a draw right now and that's my prediction

1-1 KDB

Nothing wrong with being optimistic, pessimism gets you nowhere.

Kind of a weird thing i am going to say.We have one of the best managers in the World who has won the lot, brought success beyond our wildest dreams.

Right now though for me he is just as culpable as the team for our shit run of form.Refusing to see at this moment in time, the team no longer has the Legs to play his game.Heart of the team is way too old.Refusing to adapt accordingly.Being unable to see we are conceding the same Goals game after game because of his system. That stupid Rico Lewis shit where he runs around with the Ball like a malfunctioning Duracell Bunny until he loses it.Then struggles to get back in to position like a 60 a day smoker, his lack of pace for a young man is shocking.Yet Pep thinks he brings something to the Table with this team, crazy.

Why i am thoroughly expecting the worst today.

Pep has shown Zero plan B this season to play to our strengths.at this moment in time.

I am expecting the High Line,The Rico experiment,Walker blowing out of his arse, starting with a,back 3, this morphing in to a back 2 when the Goals start raining in..

4-0,5-0,,possibly 6.

Liverpool are not great,we know they can be got at if your pragmatic and put 11 behind the Ball and hit on the counter like Forest did..We will set up in a way though that will make them look like peak 1970s Brazil.

Hope i am wrong.

I think we’ll see the same starting line up as against Feyenoord, perhaps with Walker in for Rico. No way Dias starts as he hasn’t played even as a sub in ages. Sadly I don’t think Kev is fit enough to start either, but hopefully I’m wrong on that one and he starts instead of Nunesor Silva.

Fearing the worst for this one. If we can start well and put away our chances, then who knows - this could be a turning point in our season. But that’s my heart talking and not my head. 3-0 methinks….

I would rather kevin starts and take him off later if needed.

Pathetic excuse - this is concerning and with him biting his own face off the other day I’m concerned for his mental well being.

I really believe he’s lost the plot and if he hasn’t and we get battered today then I think he will self combust .

I don't think they will batter us. I am not sure we are really that bad, or they are that good.
Still it's all down to peps team selection and approach for me.
