Win.
That’s all we ever ask on derby day
Be nice to thrash the scum, but under current circumstances any old win will do
And even given our run of form, we are still miles better than them
But

I can’t shake the feeling this could be a hideous fuck up. Of course we could just as easily wipe the floor with them. We are struggling with fit players which means in all likelihood Walker will play again and could even be captain! Though surely we can’t see a midfield with both Silva and Gundogan in it again? Is Kovacic fit?

The last derby I still haven’t gotten over and I’m not sure I ever will. We owe these big time

Prediction wise I’m gonna go heart over head and go 3-1 Foden Haaland Gvardiol
Though I may amend this on seeing the team news

Come on CITY

Come on City you fucking overpaid cunts !!!!

Walker and Gundo on the bench and if they are not I’ll probably self combust.

Derby Day comes only two days a year, enough time to hate that rancid club just that little bit more.

The 11 I would pick based on who's available and the opposition would be
Ederson
Walker Dias Gvardiol Silva
Kovacic
de Bruyne Grealish
Doku Savinho
Haaland

Flat back four with Walker given the firm instruction that he has to be ahead of the two centre halves at all times, Grealish to drop in to help Silva when required and the two wingers to get high and wide against the United back 3 and run at them. Wingers change sides on a frequent basis. Play longer balls into the usual full back pockets which will be available due to the United back 3 and the wingers. should have a field day. Do I think Pep will pick this 11? Not a chance, Gundogan will be in, only one of the wingers will start and we'll play the usual pointless possession shit.

That's what I've had in my head, hoping that Kova was fit enough. I take it that Ake still out?

Bern can deal with that snide cunt Bruno.

I wouldn’t have Doku or Savio anywhere near the team. Both absolute wet wipes who know fuck all what this derby will mean to fans. I’d even have McAtee playing off the right. At least he’ll understand it and has scored more than Savio this season…

McAtee has scored more than Savio this season. Just speaking facts. Will await your response to this fact, John.

Savio more than Doku in the wet wipes stakes. Doku, although it rarely leads to anything, at least threatens. Savio is just not very good.

Agree with this. Doku has much more raw power and pace
But neither is close to Raheem in his prime, no matter how frustrating he sometimes was

I've got a feeling in my knackers that Walker is going to some how redeem himself today.

We never replaced Mahrez. He assisted quite a few and scored quite a few. Doku and Savinho are young players and have a lot of natural talent. Wrong to write them off.

Also wrong to just think they’ll become as good as Mahrez, Sterling or Sané just because they’re here.

No one is writing them off for the future, we’re saying they’re not good enough NOW.
