Very sorry to hear of Mary Fowlers serious injury. We don’t seem to have had much luck with injuries to the women either.

My niece has or had ST for the ladies, don't think she goes as much now, she's a paramedic and if not on shift, she does private work at villa and West Bromwich men's games.

I have no interest in the women's game, I know quire few females that love the men's game and are st holders for their respective clubs, but have no interest in the women's game either.

Seems like every time I take my daughter there’s another few players injured for them. Think they’ve definitely been unlucky this season - Greenwood, Bunny Shaw, Hemp, Fowler all injured or been injured for some time.

The women's team has been decimated this season by injuries and not just short term so its basically been near impossible for them to compete never mind win in the major competitions.
Bunny , Hemp and Greenwood missing for months takes the heart out of the team but then add Miedema (top WSL goalscorer of all time, Jill Roord ( dutch international) Aoba Fujino Japanese international who had been playing so well plus others for shorter periods and now Mary Fowler we're basically missing 7 starters from the first team.

Still got to a cup final plus the quarter finals of the champs league where we beat Barcalona 2 nil on a very special night before all the injuries hit.

She thinks she’s Messi looking at her social media. I think she fell out with someone at the club

Cheers for that. Only started following them halfway through the season when my daughter got interested and knew they should be better than they are at the moment.

Will get her to more of their matches next season

same goes for all the youth teams as well
obviously love it when lads come through but i would never check their results
on girls football, my daughter has just joined an u11 team. she loves it but it’s not close to the game my 2 lads played when they were same age. i love watching her play though - it’s so much more fun for them, the boys take it way more seriously. she has 2 female coaches who are great, they come up against teams coached by dads who clearly wanted sons and shout and scream on the sideline as if they are managing a sunday pub team - pretty ridiculous really

Remember there was fuck all for girls 6 years ago, but now there is. I’d imagine some girls now will be better than lads their own age because they’ll have been training since young. Our youngest has been doing football since 2 years old and her shot is more powerful than our 7 years olds.

The girls teams near us play in the lads leagues but against lads teams a year younger. Great idea and will get girls up to the level of lads eventually. I take our oldest to train with another lad in her class and his dad and she pushes him about no problems.

Watching the womens yesterday our 18 is genuinely a better fullback than Nunes - I’m not exaggerating. That Keating made a mistake for their goal but against Chelsea at home the other week she made some class saves I’d expect Ederson or Ortega to make. The number 4 yesterday is also better than any of our midfielders this season - would have her over Bernie no problems.

As mentioned she thinks she is better than she is but was basically rubbish most of the minutes she played this season. And I reckon she did have a fall out of some sort with the manager. Not aq great loss to us apart from the fact weve had all the injuries she obviously would have played more

I can't quite understand how a City fan isn't interested on how the youth teams are doing! Each to their own I suppose. They're a good watch apart from being a Manchester City team

I have no interest whatsoever in womens football. I am also pissed off at being force fed news via the male football framework about this sub standard game.

i like to see academy lads make into the first team but honestly couldn’t care less if the youth teams are winning or losing.

To be fair to the club, the OS keeps them generally separated i.e. latest news you click men or womens, unlike the fucking beeb. I end up questioning my own sanity if men and women teams play the same day as to who WE (the men's are playing) utter box ticking bunch of cunts they are!

I’ve got to admit, the BBC website is shocking for football now. A few times I’ve clicked on the fixtures and see matches thinking they’re men’s and when I’ve checked the scores later realised it’s women’s.
