Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

De Jong is playing great. Making tackles, simple passing, keeping posession, exactly what a centre mid should be doing. Sweep finds himself in the unusual situation of not having the pace to run past his full back and, so far, has no alternative. Glad to see we really restricted Arsenal's chances at goal. Looking good at the moment. Would surely have been two if Stevie had pulled the trigger.

Arsenel as you would expect have seen alot of the ball but we have matched them and stopped them playing those little one twos in midfield that historically have ripped us to pieces. The fact that we have probably seen as much of the ball against Wengers Arsenel in the first half than i have ever seen us have before is a good sign, even with Tevez and Rob missing.
We look strong at the back, Arsenel have barely created anything from open play.
Richards is so strong but his passing is sometimes a let down. Bridge is continuing his fantastic start to the season.
Ive come to the conclusion that De Jong is a better version of Gelson Fernandes. Theres nothing special about him but every squad needs one.
Ireland and SWP have been poor. Ireland hasn been the same player as last season so far in this. Looks to have lost his confidence on the ball.
SWP and Bellemy have been great tracking back so far so while we're still in the lead, theres no need to change anything. Adebayor is worring them on the break which is enough to occupy a couple of defenders at a time.
I get the feeling theres a storm coming we may have to weather. Should be interesting.

Poor 1st half from SWP.I reckon gettin dropped for england in midweek has got in his head.

i think we should have kept dunne til xmas, lescott isn't much of an improvement imo, passing as awful

I've been saying this all along, Lescott is average and probably a worse player than Dunne.

Disagree with you, mate! Maybe it should be a draw for us with Dunney, how many times would he lose his man today?
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

Second time we have let a free header from a set piece, really toying with losing our clean sheet season here.

Lescott and Toure have been immense in the air.
Can't remember the last time I said that about a City centre half partnership.

It's starting to look a bit worrying. We'd better pick our game up a notch.
