that's at least 4 erroneous theories in a tribute thread.
good work
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

RIP GS
His agent says he wasn't depressed, nor did he row with his wife before he topped himself.

Three pages of people speculating that he was depressed, a few of us question that he may not have actually been depressed (which now seems to look more and more like a possibility) and now people are asking us not to speculate?

The reasons when found out might help others to recognise the symptoms before they decide n ending it. Knowing what led to this may help save others if its in the public domain and people take note.

Honestly, I realised I made that remark and it was genuinely stupid. However these are the most common reasons for suicide: depression, death in close family, severe illness and divorce. It has now been established that there was no such reasons meaning we are going to wonder in deeper personal waters which in turn can be added torture to family and something tabloids will have riot over.

You do see the difference I hope?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Like I put in my earlier comment, things can happen so suddenly and without warning in life that are so drastic that while you are plunged into a vast dark hole so quick cause your whole world gets ripped in two, it is quite easy to go into panic mode and jut go through with the deed. Believe me.
what ever has happened to the poor sod, it will come out given time.

I think we could stand doing it for the rest of the season.

925 games, 141 goals spanning 23 years.

Legend of the sport even though that phrase gets tossed around too easily these days and a tragic and young end, I think we can stomach showing respect for more than a week before we forget all about him, don't you?

To be fair it was Norwich's first game since the news broke. (And Tuesday was Arsenal's first since the news broke.)

Apparently he spent two years at city as a 13-4 year old.

I was convinced he'd been at us as a kid and was one of those who'd got away, but as no one had mentioned it, I thought I was making it up. Be good if someone can confirm

Today was the official premier league commemoration as its the first weekend since his death. But yes, it does feel like its been non-stop which is just a function of how many different games there's been.

Worst idea for it had to be the Spurs game where the Greeks obviously had no idea what was happening so just carried on singing throughout.
