We have tens of thousands of thoughts each day, most of which, in most people tend to be negative. There are tens of thousands of different peptides (and more being discovered all the time) The amount of peptide generated is governed by the strength of the thought.
For example....City going to Wembley = very excited = lots of Adrenaline. City playing Exeter in the Carling Cup = minimal excitement = small amount of Adrenaline. The same applies to Testosterone, Seratonin, Insulin etc.

Peptides are like a chemical memory and remain stored in body cells until the cause of their initial release is dealt with. Strong negative thoughts giving rise to strong negative emotions releasing peptides that can be toxic.

When Doomie states....think something happy, he is quite correct. It is good for your health .

A broken clock. Twice a day. That's me!

I love getting scientific advice from a cabbie btw.

Btw I'm doing yoga and I've lost 8 lbs since my fattest ever weight last Thursday morning. I'm getting my physical life together and it's making me feel fantastic. Yoga. Walks. Normal food intake. It's fucking easy if you give a shit. ;)

We all have different internal make-up and some events will affect some more than others.

Personally I'm a hard bastard that cannot be broken, many have tried , even to the extent of putting me in harms way..I laugh at it I tell you..I laugh..then go home for a shag.

Back of the net.

When you were put in harms way, were you kicked in the balls ?Cos most hard men I know, have had tears in their eyes after that, and you can keep dry eyes whilst slicing onions and have you never seen old yellar?

I defy anyone who doesn't admit to at least a twinge of emotion watching old yeller.

No. Always found it incredibly dull, even as a child.
