Just watched City v Southampton from 1983 on The Big Match revisited on ITV 4.Man we were shit!
4 0 down at half time with players like Ivan Golak, Kevin Bond , Andy May, Graham Baker, David Cross, and the worst manager of all time Benson.
That was the season he lost 12 of the last 17 games and we lost the last game at home to Luton to drop into the bottom 3 for the only time and got relegated. Typical City!
At least we've come a long way since then
