I wouldnt be surprised if we are trying to do a deal for Ibra or even Silva, Bobby had a visit to them about a month ago and made his interest plain.

that was just Fester seeking for free spotlights, Mate.
the day after, Bob explained that while he was landed in Milan and moving to Genoa to attend a Sampdoria game, he got a call by Galliani who invited for a courtesy visit.

What do AC Milan need with Ibra, Robinho, Pato, Cassano, AND Dzeko?
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

AC apparently want shot of Robinho sharpish...

and as for Ibra... well if an offer were to come in (given the players quality it could happen) then I think they would accept (given Ibra's age and wage)

Leaving Dzeko as a very real option *IF* they could offload Bobinho and Ibra.

According to The Mail Milan have renewed their interest in Handsome Carlito. Talks with his agent etc.
I have always believed that he is a more likely departure than Edin, or any other striker for that matter.
Bob doesn't forget.
And if I'm honest, no matter how much I rate Carlos , I think we'd be stronger with Van Pissflap rather than Tevez in the squad.

Tuttomercato reckon that a poor season (6 goals in 28 games) coupled with AC's dire lack on funds see him first on the "for sale" list.

From what I have read, he is seen very much at AC like we saw him, brilliant in patches but frustrating too. Think they would rather have a consistent goalscorer more of the Dzeko mold.

Agree, Tevez miles better.

RVP is a finisher.. that's it. Tevez is everything.

Had RVP been in our squad last season rather than Tevez, we would have romped the League.
Tevez is a great player, and I didn't have a problem with him coming back in, but he is unreliable and volatile. Our squad would be stronger I'd suggest.
Plus our relationship with CT is tarnished now.

These two points are the problem, as a player Tevez still has the edge on RVP for me.

This said there are quite a few who would describe RVP as volatile too, he certainly doesn't have a squeaky clean history...

Begs the question, is RVP the right man for us given all the issues we have had with Tevez... hmmmm.

If you are thinking we are replacing our 3/4 striker with RVP I think you'll have one hell of a shock.

If he wants to stay I think we'd be mad to get rid of him, there aren't many teams in the world who can match our 4 strikers and anyone who will improve on them will expect to be starting most, if not every, week.

Maybe, maybe not, but i don't want RVP. Just too many 'issues' about him. He can go elsewhere. But even if we believe a fraction of what we hear or read bob is supposed to be an admirer and might go for him. Then someone has to make way so i just think that IF a striker is sold it would be dzeko.

Without wanting to come across as some cloack and dagger ITK type, I did say on here some time ago that I had a conversation with David Platt and he told me that RVP 'was a possibility' so I think we can safely assume he's a target.

Every player has pro's and cons though - last season was something of a freak season for RVP, in that he wasn't injured for a long period. His knackerability record is a big risk IMO.

Tevez is one of the best forwards on the planet. He is the complete package. Unfortunately, he is as we all know, liable to throw a strop and unsettle any momentum he may have been instrumental in achieving - such is his importance in what we do when he plays well, if this happens again it could prove catastrophic.

Edin - I really think people have become spoilt brats a bit, the way they slag him off. He's a young man, who's settled into a new team/country/culture - been here like a year and a half, and scored what 17 last season? And not started nearly as much as he'd have liked? Any faults he has (and there are a few, which have pised me off at times) can be coached out of him. Careful what you wish for folks. I'd defo keep him if at all poss.

POint is everyone has risks and negative points (take Sergio for example - how can anyone be this perfect - I dunno if I trust that!). I think RVP would be the riskiest of our strikers simply because of his injury record, were we to buy him. To get rid of Dzeko, who I reck will just get stronger, would be wrong.

No no. It's just my opinion. If you compare the number of goals for each, and the number of games they actually played, Edin played a lot less and still scored quite a few. Also, he isn't as injury prone. And the biggest factor is that RVP is a cuntish guy, Edin isn't :)
