Why, when we're in front, do we seem to drop off, is it a fitness thing?

Joe Allen would be a good acquisition to our squad, would be a good rotational player for Silva. He plays simple but effectively. Plays a good final ball.

I do like the UAE midfielder, seems a very good raw talent that Mancini could nurture.

Neymar is class, and he knows it. Would he fit in our squad? I don't know. Hate to say it but he'd fit in Chelsea's squad better as he'd be the main man. Aguero is the main man at City, with Tevez & Mario not far behind. I just don't think his character & attitude would suit us. Mario only gets away with it as he's funny & a bit of a clown.

Don't rate Ramirez, only decent thing he's done is score 1 free kick.

Cavani has not impressed me at all!

On that game I wouldn't take any of them, that weren't already City players.

He really is a prick. So frustrating to watch let alone play with.

When you see the likes of Sinclair and Rose going mad at him you know he's a cunt. Talented as fuck but will never be a team player.

Cavani and Suarez dogshit again tonight. Micah, Butland and Joe Allen biblical. Cleverley and Bellamy also played very well.

Buzzing about this tournament now.

Joe Allen would be a great signing. So would UAE attacking midfielder. Any other players impressed during group stages?

It's turning into a cracker for me. Got myself a weeks leave and am amazed how much time I've spent watching the games. The football has been better than I imagined and both teams are going from strength to strength.

Looking forward to a little more now.

I agree. It's also interesting to see how the younger British midfielders (Allen, Ramsey, Cleverley) have such a different mentality to the older ones (especially Lampard and Gerrard). Their short, sharp yet patient passing really gets us a foothold possession-wise.

I also agree with Pearce using Micah at CB. His relative experience was invaluable tonight.

honestly on average have the matches really been lower quality than the Euros? i don't think they have....i've seen some really nice stuff played, and really have enjoyed all four matches i've watched. I'm no Beefy sat in the barcalounger with some chili crisps and a budweiser, but...i'm digging it. Watching Egypt now and loving it....good times, good...times.

cheers

The football has been more adventurous but it's hard to compare the overall quality from memory. I'd say Team GB have been miles more dynamic than Euro 2012 England, and a one-off game between the two sides would be difficult to call.

I miss Bellamy. And Cavani is a twat. And not that good. In fact, all of the Uruguayans were twats of Suarez proportions
