I'm in a band mate. We're only new, but doing well and it's just sadly impossible to keep both up at the same time when mixed with work/social life/girlfriend/songwriting etc etc!

I kept finding it distracting me and didn't have the mental energy for it sadly. Shame as I do enjoy writing.

Marwood is finishing off watching the Olympics and then plans to let us finalise deals.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned it but I think after the Olympics is over we'll sign a few players. Marwood is too glued to it at the moment though.

I think the FFP rule had something to do with this. I think Khaldoon had a word with Platini and he might have said, take it slow this summer, for people to think that we are big and bad with our new rule and the next year, do what you always do, just don't break the market this time.

I agree, they are a backroom team as much as the onfield group are a team. Khaldoon and Roberto, even Potato and Kidd all have their part to play. If we can't buy RVP or Agger because of FFP or Arsenal and Liverpool faffing about with the media cocksuck, who's stopping Mancini from picking up a stack of tapes(old school our Roberto) and finding a better target?

i agree. i wish Roberto would quit bitching about him in the press. It's really not fair. I mean the manager who won us two trophies is off his rocker and completely full of shit in a "Raglike" way, isn't he?

i agree with that last point wholeheartedly, and we'll never know how their backroom dealings work.

We know that Mancini, like any good Italian, is going to be as political as they come, so his throwing Marwood under the bus twice in the last week, is either calculated and devious or genuine and sincere in his shock that he can't sign up a couple players.

I think it's the latter.
