As I said, I went to see Serbia against Wales.

Kolarov was man of the match. Scored a beautiful free kick and made the second goal, played good offensively, wasnt challenged defensively.

As for Nastasić, he didn have much to do be cause Wales were pretty awful in the final third. He is not tall enough, and he didnt win all the headers but he positions himself really well. I havent seen the 12 million or whatever city payed in him, but I have seen a bit of Savić ;)

Bale scored a beauty. I was the only one clapping...

Why was the game played in Novi Sad, do you know? Do Serbia rotate their games around different grounds?

Serbia does not rotate games around different grounds. I guess they wanted to change things a bit. All the games were played in Belgrade, but now they have a new coach, rejuvenated team and, I guess, they needed loud and unconditional support to make those young players score some goals. National team haven't scored for almost a year, till last night. Also, Mihajlovic, the new coach started his career in Novi Sad...

The way he is trying to make them play kind of reminds me of City, and it was clear to me that Roberto is his patron, in a way.

Kolarov was out of position most of the time Bale played on the left against Ivanovic, and Mihajlovic spent a lot of energy reminding Kolarov to get back and take his position.

After the game, a good friend of mine that's well connected inside the Serbian FA, was invited to a dinner Kolarov attended as well. So he texted me saying he was chitchatting with Kola and winding him up about how the scum will regain the league and stuff like that. I politely asked him to tell Kola this: send my love to YAya ;)

That was disappointing Dazza. Schwarzer to blame for the 2nd goal. There was no need for him to come out. Japan have shot through from this group after beating Iraq 1 Nil. Fight is now for 2nd spot.
