I for one love your comments and value your opinions. I just feel you get pushed into a hastened flurry of words too often.. Smoke up if it helps, way too late/early for you and Phips to have each others balls in a tight grip!
As for Mario? Never seen a player like him at City ever (good and bad), someone mentioned he has character, indeed he does. Character enough for 25m? Doubt it. I'll leave it to the boys in charge, they get paid for it.

Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

That guy must be related to Rooney, seeing he has 6 fingers on his right hand.

Mario is in London with the rest of the squad and Mr Brennan was misinformed. That's all
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Take everything with a pinch of salt until it's OS. But all the papers are rumouring (newsnow) and if we can get a decent deal (around 20 million euros would do the trick,) we will be selling. That is all.

All papers are rumouring based on each others rumours. I don't believe for one moment we will be selling Mario any time soon.
Mario hasn't done anything stupid in public for a couple of weeks and it's the January transfer window. What else can they use to fill pages? 90% of transfer rumours are complete bollox, it is just used to keep gullible people occupied and it obviously works.

To those that think €20m is a good price, get your head out of your arse.

He is Italy's current number 9, he is one of the most marketable names in football, 2 and a half years left on his contract, we never put him up for sale and he has a good scoring record with us, around 30 in 80 from the left wing.

We should be getting back what we paid for him, at least our board appears to understand this.

Personally I think it's all bollox. Milan posturing to give their fans some hope, and Juve thrown in by us to try and get the price going.

But you never know.

Just before an important away game as well.

This is non-stop on TS this morning and they've pulled out a corker with an Italian journo who said that Mario text his best mates in Brescia saying 'He's coming home'. Now, I'm not sure how they got hold of that text from his best friends but he also said that there has been no confirmation at all that there was any negotiations taking place.

As a side-note, they've just had a Blue on from Stockport (I'm sure that all Blues come from Stockport on there) who mentioned that the only things that Mario had done was the winking at Rio (to which Irani laughed), the 2 goals against the Rags in the 6-1 (to which Irani tried to laugh) and the pass to Aguero to win the Premier League title (to which Irani could be heard sobbing into his wank sock). If that's all he has done then I'm very thankful.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Mirror reports :

Hard bargain: AC Milan set to increase £17m bid for Mario Balotelli and throw in Kevin-Prince Boateng

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... 7m-1561089

I personally like Balotelli but if he is interested in leaving too nothing can be done, high hopes on Guidetti.

What do you think of Kevin-Prince Boateng ? Is he worth having in our squad ?

I firmly believe that this is like a housing chain. We'll let Balo go once we know Cavani's in the bag; Napoli will let Cavani go once they know that kid from Milan's in the bag. I can see all three deals happening in the next 36 hours.

Just a strong inkling.

I think there could be definitely an element of truth in that.

For me, if he is to leave it needs two things to happen; a) we need to be paid the right fee and b) we have to be in a position to secure a replacement. Guidetti is probably two months away from being fit enough to contend for the first team from what Platt said recently re him going on loan so if people think that is an option I think they are wide of the mark.

If both of things don't happen I don't think he'll be going anywhere
