Well, Aguero's tackle would never have happened if Luiz hadn't harassed him all game, so you're right there with the apologists. You can't excuse one challenge, but not the other.

The action Kun took, look like sweet revenge indeed; And I quite enjoyed watching it.
Im not shy from physical play, but this doesnt really belong to "the beatiful game" imho.
