Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Here's a very good artichle about Fernandinho.

http://brazil.worldcupblog.org/world-cu ... elder.html

Watch this footage of him v Chelski at Bridge in the CL, he was even better in the home leg, absolutely bossed both games.

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/9619820/f ... chelsea_a/

I will be buzzing if we seal this deal.

Great signing

Feel totally underwhelmed by this saga - cant say he's a player I've ever rated & not one of those stellar signings that make me understand that he's a huge step up in class. If he's only marginally better than what we have why spend so much money on him, plus I'm still not convinced about Brazilians in the PL.

Cavani I can see the point & how he fits into the side & is worth paying similar money for (same goes for Falcao)

He's a 28 year old Brazilian that has never been truly tested in a big league that were going to have to pay 42 mil for..... No thanks I'll pass.

So for the amounts of money being mentioned are we buying all of the Fernandinhos or just one?

Seriously..do you cnuts really think we will pay 42 million for him?

I don't know who's more deluded..the Shaktar coach or you lot

We will get him for around 20 mil I reckon..and that will be good business

He will cost 84 million. Get your facts straight. In my opinion, that's too much.

it does sound like he wants to join City because we're the only PL club interested and he wants to come to the PL by any means so he can try and get back in the national team. if it was Spurs that were the only team interested in him im sure he'd say the same thing....but i guess wanting to be in the national team should give him some motivation to play well.

We seem to have a problem with our playing policy and players ambitions for their national teams , I E " I will have to look elsewhere for more playing time if I want to go to W/C " . seems to be a reacuring theme .

Feillaini is massively overrated. Proven class my arse. He's had a huge dip in form for most of the season and has turned up in only a handful of the big games. He's a good player but a lazy fuck and a huge twat too.

True to an extent but the problem we have with (say) Lescott is just that he's not playing enough in the English league and he is English.

This lads problem is that I imagine the Brazilian coaching staff do not often fancy schlepping to Ukraine and...if they don't go...they are likely reduced to scouting their players via pretty limited tv coverage.

For example, the media coverage of the PL is so extensive that the Argentinian setup doesn't really need to come to Manchester to see exactly how Carlos Sergio and Zabba are playing...

also, if fellaini were to play for city ... you know that every single one of the elbows he gets away with now would be a red card for us. He would only play once every 3-5 games.

Jó.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Different players:
Isco is a playmaker/winger, the kind we need to unload some attention from Silva.

Fernandinho is supposed to be a deep laying/holding midfielder with some ability to build on the play: a better Ramirez. Most optimistic talk of something similar to De Rossi....

I confess I don't know much of this bloke, but granted that the role is already well covered with Bazza, Milner and YaYa, which would probably be advanced in case of this purchase, I would not spend half the money talked on gossip.

I rather spend any available pennies in the two purchases we are desperately needed for two seasons to progress further.
Get Cavani and Reus and I'll be over the moon.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!
