Want a draw. A toffees win puts them above us! We can't take anyone too lightly this year.

Everton aren't going to win the league this year, so it doesn't matter what they do.

Not doing bad so far, just a few loose passes away from getting through the Arse defence .

Arsenal are upping the tempo now. Shit.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

That's all well and good but we need them dropping points elsewhere too. Arsenal are the better team in this game now so fingers crossed Everton get lucky and keep the clean sheet ><

Well, assuming they hold on now they are 8 points clear of us. Even if we beat them twice, we would still be two points behind. So yes, we do need them dropping points.

Nope. Beat them head to head twice and match every other result and we win on GD.

Far too early in season to say we need other results to for us.

What a good point yesterday is turning out to be.

Very confident of taking 3 points of them next week.

Umm, well, yes NOW that is true because they just dropped points. Like we said we needed them too. But if they had held on at 1-0 and won the game then beating them twice and matching their results wouldn't have been enough.

Anyway its not been a bad weekend for us all things considered, this is a decent result today. If we beat them next week then the top of the table is going to get very interesting!

They are now behind us in the par table I posted a couple pages ago.

Chelsea -1
City -2
Arsenal -3
Liverpool -4
Spurs -8
Scum -13

Good weekend.

That's interesting. RAWK have something similar on their forum I used to look at occasionally but I thought that had us looking really quite bad on it last I checked.

Actually I just looked at it now, it has us doing quite a bit worse than your methodology but won't be too different once they update the 15th game (I think we did par result and chelsea will be -3 and arsenal -2)

http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/ind ... sg12218072

Scum will be -13 there too :)

Honestly I don't think these tables have a lot of value whatsoever but they are kinda interesting to look at.

Our shite point v Southampton is now changing into a 'that's how you win the league' type point.

Still think it was shite v a very average team personally, but I wouldn't back on any of the other top 6 particularly doing better, so in the context of things...

Arse were completely outplayed on their own pitch for 40 mins today. Fancy Everton getting undone by a hopeful hoof into the box though. Never would have happened under Moysie.

Unfortunately, I think Arsenal have the ideal game to cause our slouchy defence problems.

Having said that, on the plus side, if they let us turn with the ball like they did Everton, they are utterly fucked & will go the same way as everyone else.

Actually RAWK updated their table, not that I expect anyone is too interested but:

http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/ind ... sg12232606

By their methodology it actually wasn't a great weekend for us, as we dropped 2 more but Chelsea only 1 (as Stoke are higher rated than Southampton).

I don't know what to expect when we play Arsenal. I think we should be able to cause them huge problems ... but then I could see them causing our shaky defense massive problems too. Should be a really really good game.

Is that one of those alternative tables that show the Dippers winning the league, or at least getting top 4?
