you are conveniently ignoring the fact that we had been (or were on the verge of being) knocked out of the other 3 competitions by this point. face it: as good as it was, our form during that season was not a patch on this season's.

No one will ever forget what Mancini did for us and what he helped us achieve. But while he can take credit for his (or marwoods) signings, no one can take credit for the ever so clear feel good factor the Count has brought to the club.

Mancini's contribution was a building block for where we are going and one we are all grateful for.

The Count has kicked it up a notch with a change in mentality that i am so thankful for. It's what i think many of us have dreamt about...a team like this off the leash and unbridled. I've never seen anything like it.

Also, I think it's really really boring to make fun of Socs. Like pissing on a turd in the bowl, or punching a retard, or fucking a fat girl, or taking candy from a baby, etc. etc. etc.

I'll go with the fucking a fat girl one thanks, they have extra doses of hormones that make them awesome in bed.

My goodness Socs, old chum, that's an interesting viewpoint.

I'll have to bow to your vastly superior knowledge in such matters.

i'm not sure about the hormones but i met one or two in my younger years that just had a lot more to prove than other girls. So they said.

They both played/are playing crucial roles in our rapid ascension. Why do we have to malign one in order to give credit to the other? Love em both.

It's been this weird theme on this site eversince Pellegrini appointment to belittle Mancini and equally praise Pellegrini. I simply don't get it. I thought Mancini was fucking awesome for us and I think Pellegrini is fucking awesome for us.

Love them both.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I dislike anyone claiming credit for something they haven't done and will react to it accordingly.
Mancini is belittling Pellegrini and deserves to be brought to book over it.............you are a Mancini licker and always will be and so is that cunt from Thailand.

I say it how it is and will give credit where credit is due but I will not have some past manager claiming credit for the way we are playing now , there is a massive difference in player demeanor and performance since Pelli took over , no one gets the credit for that but Pellegrini.

End of.

What a load of bollox.

As for the thread title. Pellegrini is our manager now so he takes the credit for how we perform. End of.

One thing missing from the discussion in what credit does Brian Kidd get? I'd say quite a bit.

One of the only coaches to stay at the club through both managers, extremely hard worker, one of the most well respected people still working in football, and a thoroughly nice bloke. I wouldn't underestimate his contribution to translating the nuances of Mancini and Pellegrini's tactics to the players. The players usually interact with the 1st team coach more than the manager on a day to day basis, so the coach plays a huge part in keeping everyone happy and focused.

One of the main reasons in think the rags have gone to shit so quickly is because wee moysey removed all of their (very good) 1st team coaches for geniuses like phil neville. Luckily we done things in a much much smarter manner.

I've never had many experiences of that kind of situation, Doomie. Perhaps being ugly had something to do with it.

We are of course overlooking the main person behind all of this and without it none of this would be possible.

I of course, refer to me.
