I think we can safely say Clichy won't be playing right back again this season unless we really are desperate. If we get a decent offer Nastasic should be sold. Boyata isn't good enough either. Maybe the Club feel Sagna can be our fourth centre back if necessary. Please don't anyone say Rekik is the answer.

I'd say this backline is better suited for a 3rd round League Cup tie, but even Luton would run riot over it. Woeful.

Boyata is dreadful. Apart from being club trained I can't see why he got a new deal. He looked promising 3/4 years ago when came in to the team at first but he just hasn't improved at all. Nowhere near the level we need even to be a backup player.

Clichy has just had one of the worst halves of football I've ever seen from a City right back, & there's some serious competition for that crown. He played as if he'd been paid to chuck the game. He could have stopped both goals just by actually trying to.

I just said the same to my wife. Clichy has been appalling.

we're losing midfield because we have one person still getting used to it and one person basically still in preseason (and playing like it).

I don't see how Boyata is worse than Clichy or Nastasic in this game.

the two of them together are worse than playing a man down.

Sadly, on the other end we've seen nothing in the box to get on the end of 3-4 decent chances we've had. Credit to Arsenal's defense tho. They've looked disciplined and smart...esp. compared to our bullshit.

cheers

Can't believe it took you 45 mins to do a complete 180.

i haven't done a 180 at all assclown. i said that with the exception of both CBs we had a very strong team. So fucking learn to read, dickhole.

cheers

If we bring on Rekik, then absolutely yes.

he isn't. I think Nastasic has been worse. And Clichy worse than that even. Diabolical on this stage.

No, I don't either. At least he got challenges in for both goals. You can't always control where the ball goes after you make a tackle. Which is where your teammates come in. Or don't if their name is Nastasic.

I said it looks like, not that he has. I can blame the back four for any of the goals as we've got a young CB pairing who are getting no cover whatsoever. I know it's a friendly but FFS, at least put some effort in.

I'm also not sure about Fernando. This Octopus shit that he likes to state would usually mean you look a cunt as an outfield player, looking out of place on land. Now, if he was a keeper, I'd give it him but not as a DM as it usually means a lot of last-ditch tackles.

Nasri has been affected by the boo's, Yaya isn't really there and Navas looks like a chicken that's lost it's head.

Anyway, it's a friendly. If they can't be arsed, I might just watch Karate Kid instead.
