Right.

Ted, most people are expressing their view why he wasn't picked and a few have just decided to have a pop due to his girly ways. Nothing more.

Lot's of posts are just having a go at Jovetic for the sake of it.

Really ??

On the other hand, they might just have opinions of their own and are exercising their entitlement to express them..

They are entitled to it & my opinion is that a lot of it is people having a go at Jovetic because they have an excuse & I don't much care for it. I'm equally entitled to that.

Sure, you can infer that people are 'having a go' at Jovetic, in the same way I am entitled to infer that you are having a go at Pellegrini for his decision.

How about you support the fucking manager for once huh?

You would be right if I said Pellegrini was a waste of time etc. However what I said was I understand why he made the decision.

So you saying I was having a go at him would in fact be a load of bollocks.

This is what we've been reduced to. When your team is awesome there's not a lot to squabble about is there.

jovetic is not happy? well i'm not happy with him.

off sick for a year while collecting a pay cheque and when he finally was fit he wasn't exactly setting the world light before getting injured again. He seems quite slow as well for his build.
Still here.

Totally understandable but well worth the debate.

No mate, there's not a lot to squabble about until you are not really a supporter of your first team. 'First Team', a new concept, didn't your fellow 'First Team' supporters help you out when you needed a lift to the game, the only game?

I don't like to point it out but fuck me, you've turned into a keyboard cunt.

I'd really like Jovetic to do well, and earlier this season he showed some good promise. If he'd have carried on like that then he would have made the squad, no doubt.

But, given the restriction on the squad then the big call was whether Pellers wanted to sacrifice a defender, goalie or striker/linkman. He decided the latter and as Jovetic hasnt either justified himself as a striker, and as he's clearly behind Silva and Nasri as a linkman then it had to be him.

I'm pleased he's got the guts to speak out. Who wouldn't be gutted to miss out on the knock outs?

Looks like his future might not be with us but stranger things have happened...

I would have kicked dzeko out, not jovetic ... then again I thought dzeko was sure to be off in Jan. and it wouldn't have been an issue. There must have been a plan to move someone on rather than having an expensive striker sitting on the bench, that's not good in a business sense, in a squad harmony sense ... in any sense really.

Think we've dropped the ball on this one, no matter who was left out. I honestly don't give a shit about Jovetic complaining ... truth is he has been shit on and I wouldn't want a player that was ok to be left out like this. All I can hope is that it lights a fire under him and he proves people wrong, for his and our sake.

The truth is that Dzeko does more in defence than both have them have done in attack this season, it's that bad. However, Pellers is saying that Jovetic isn't going to get the chance so who cares, it's past the point.

First Ted, it's not fair to single out just one sentence in my entire post. Yes Edin had a terrible season, but the first season that he has mainly been injured and unfit . Jovetic was so Injured last season that he did not produce anything , so you can understan why Edin have such bad season so far. Do I need really still remind some that neither Aguero has given each season to in last three 13 goals In PL, Edin has. Edin was packaged to be sold I think last season, where similar like this season until January was not a factor and sat on bench .Then like we know Aguero got injured , Negredo Injured, (and after that could not score to save hes life ), Jovetic has certainly been a huge frustration for Pellegrini and he stayed with Edin who saved his season. First he brought the League Cup ( not alone course), in which he played a lot because he did not play much in the PL. Then in January as only striker to Pellegrini string 10 goals and I'm sure Pellegrini thinks he is saved hes season among other players. Now really Pellegrini who have years of experience with the players and this or that should pick Jovetic over Edin just becouse Edin was more or less has first season injured. I think Jovetic is talent he wants to much sometimes , I also think hes still with hes head in Seria A, with some of hes dives. But I understand you, you see in Jovetic what most people see and that is that he is talent. But Ted hes talents must match Edin numbers to. I agree with someone's statement that some teammates could now think, is he meant I m' not good enough, which is not good.I will also add this I think we should sold Jovetic and Edin in summer. Jovetic is to injured and Edin is give a lot he needs a change of environment and City needs refreshment in the attack and I ask for one good defender and defensive midfielder, finally.

The rest was irrelevant.

I haven't disagreed with Pellegini's selection of Dzeko, so there's little point in arguing with me about it.

I would have left out Kolarov.

Now that Bony's with us it's hard to see Jovetic getting any happier. We're out of both domestic Cups and he's out of the CL squad. Hard to see him getting much game time between now and the end of the season. The exit door surely beckons.

Reality is that he doesn't really fit in the squad. He doesn't excel as either a forward nor a midfielder, and therefore nobody really knows what to do with him

He does bring something slightly different when he comes on the pitch, but by the same token, Pellegrini could ask Silva, Nasri or Toure to carry the ball more if he was really bothered about that aspect of the game plan, all of whom would do it as well or better than Jovetic. Equally the forwards are all more clinical in front of goal.

If he doesn't excel as a forward or a midfielder, and he is not better than nasri and Silva in te gap between attack and midfield, there's little point keeping him around wasting his career away, or taking up a squad place that could go to a left sided midfielder/attacker is there?
