As long as he's back for the home leg v Paris. Waste of time playing him in the away leg if his previous away performances are any sort of yardstick. We have missed his guile and creativity, no question about that

Looked really bad and Puncheon was given a yellow so no ban forthcoming.
Im no doctor but the fact that they braced his lower leg makes me think its a broken leg and he’ll be out for awhile.

Edit: he was just shown walking on it, albeit with help

Actually looks like a dead leg on the thigh, seeing him walking between those two staff at the end. Let's hope so

Then why cast the leg? I know about being cautious but the thigh and lower leg are completely different parts of the leg

He told bt he's ok.

Thank fuck.

If we get Sanchez in, this horrible match shouldn't dent our season

To allow Palace to catch their breath , avoid adding too much extra time on etc .

His legs were just off the ground when he got hit, which is hopefully good

Analogy: If you saw £200m in notes on a football field would you try and scoop it all up in your arms and hold it to your chest a to try not to drop any as you headed to the bench/dugout, or would you bring a big enough sack and put it all in the sack and tie it up so you didn't drop any as you headed that way?

Precautionary

I assume if he’d broken his leg he’d know by now. Doubt he’ll start on Tuesday. If there’s no Silva as well we are down to Gundogan Bernardo and Yaya for Tuesday. Not too shabby. Some talk that Sane might be available because yellows are wiped after 20 games. Not sure. The great worry is poor old Jesus. It will take a few days for a scan assuming there’s swelling. At best you’d think 8 weeks out. At worst season ending plus no World Cup. Fuck you Puncheon.

Brennan reports Jesus out for 1-2 months which would mean ligament damage but no torn ACL. That’s the best we can hope for. Sanchez has to come in January and the Arse can screw us a bit on money because they know it. Too bad.

Kevin was walking unaided after the match.
