Best weekend of my life to be honest. Me and my lad rock up in Manchester, meet John68, few beers on Friday night, we smash Palace, I see the greatest City player who ever lived play when he should have been out, then he scores in two minutes, then we get four more and go mad four more times. Me and boy sing "Five nil, even Otter scored" until we can sing no more.

Then... The bin-dipping, candle waving shite-accented wankers couldn't even steal a goal against my second team (born and bred in Southampton) and the icing on that cake is that prick Milner missing a penalty and crying about it. (#PrayForMilner)

You'd think that would be enough, but oh no. An ex-rag buries the rags to put their hopes of a top four finish in danger, and this is a team who have to play away at Spuds and Southampton yet.

The sun is shining back here in Somerset, I have chilled Leffe waiting in the fridge and I'm just about to wander the 100 yards to my local to sit in the beer garden and contemplate just how great life can be sometimes.
