Scoring
Kevin De Bruyne has made it very clear that he enjoys helping his teammates find the back of the net almost as much as he enjoys scoring a goal himself – if not more.
Unlike the vast majority of players, he said that to help someone else score and help the team gives him a feeling of success akin to that of being the man of the match or the top goalscorer.
He said to Sky Sports: “It gives me another feeling. I cannot explain it. When you score it’s a great feeling but to give a great pass is also something very sepcial for me.
“I think it’s under-rated, sometimes what we do. Obviously we cannot have these assists if they dont score the goals.”
“I am a big NBA fan where a lot of players play on physicality. But I am a big LeBron [James] fan and he can do whatever he wants.
“But he always tries to make the best play for the team and that is what I want to do.”
Bad season
It’s something you don’t hear from the vast majority of players, and as many people have pointed out, the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo certainly make it clear when they feel they’re not in the limelight and on the goal scoring charts – something the player has spoken about this week, and hit out at those who have been questioning him – saying that his stats don’t bother him at all.
Ronaldo said: “My stats, I’m not going to talk about it, you go to Google, ‘Cristiano Ronaldo goals’ and there they are, all of them. That doesn’t concern me at all.”
There’s no denying that while De Bruyne may be enjoying a brilliant season in terms of his football, Ronaldo is not, and the Real Madrid star certainly needs to up his game – in terms of scoring and assisting if he wants to win trophies this season.

Every once in a while as a supporter you know you are witnessing something really special. It happened when I I witnessed Kinkladze super solo goal all those years ago, I think it was against Southampton, not too sure now, (I know the opposition were in red and white stripes lol).. I knew I would never forget that goal, and neither did the other fans that were there that day.
Yesterday I had that feeling, what a performance it was by KDB. He is so like Colin Bell it is unreal, even his gait is similar. Those sublime passes are incredible. He nonchalantly pings them left, right, centre, with incredible ease. We are so lucky to be watching this Guy what a player.
No David Silva, no worries ,cometh the hour, cometh the man.
Love him![]()

I had Talksport on before and the amount of bile they spewed in regard to this was nauseating.
They were saying that KDB should earn more than £200,000 a week and that he will surely be kicking off with the city big wigs as bench warmer Yaya earns £250,000 a week. They were saying that Barca and Real would be sniffing around and would easily offer double what we would.
I'm pretty sure Yaya is no longer on £250,000 a week after he signed a 1 year deal in the summer and I'm pretty sure KDB would be the first to say that Yaya is a compete legend at City and has won City 5 pots since signing. That's 5 pots more than KDB has ever won. Isn't KDB wages going to be a flat wage of £200,000 plus a shit load of incentive bonuses? City should be congratulated for having a good wage structure instead of mocked for not paying enough. What would talksport say if we offered him £500,000 a week.

His fashion sense? It is pretty grim to be fair but dressing like a 12 year old is cool these days.
