Good example of why Pep plays the way he does - just then Sanchez kicks the ball out when he could have taken the slightly more difficult option of playing it back to the keeper. If he played it back, spurd would have kept possession and not had to defend anymore. But by playing it out, the dippers got the ball back for the next 2 minutes and got a testing cross in. And the little details add up, 2 minutes here 3 minutes there, next thing you know you're under pressure and having to defend for an extra 30 minutes because you didn't want to take the slightly more difficult options.

3-1 game over
shame a draw would have been good
and I've recently come to despise 'I always try to ensure there are witnesses during private conversations' Pochettino

Spurs are going to have to pull out all the stops, in every competition this season, because, in the summer when Real Madrid come calling for Kane, they're going to lose their 'main man' and will be then up the creek without a paddle.

Big Fat Poch will have to show his mettle and alter the team's 'modus operandi' to cope without him and I'm not convinced he is tactically capable of doing that.

This might be their last season to pocket some silverware.

On further watching, not the same level of Mendy at all though. Really hope he comes back strong

You do have to wonder. We stuck 5 past this lot and the spuds have 4, so far.
Yet the mighty rags got a 0-0 and we were told that was a tactical master class.

Ratboy just informed us that the Carthorse wants to be a one-club man like Jimmy Greaves (of Chelsea, A.C. Milan, Spurs, West Ham, Brentwood, Chelmsford City, Barnet and Woodford Town.)

It's going to be all doom and gloom in Liverpuddleland tonight.

We might even have the prospect of suicidal Scousers throwing themselves in the Mersey.....but probably not, as they'll most likely find someone else to blame instead.

It could well be City, as we've ruined football with our spending, which has distorted the transfer market.

Aurier's primary position is at right back, one of the very best there is. Shame about the non football part of his brain.

Ah yes. That's the reason why they still have 4 or the same back 5 that got Bodgers sacked for not having a good enough defense.

Klopp just doesn't know how to build or coach a defense.
