Going forward he's easily on par with Delph.
The short passing between him Silva and Sané is fantastic to see at times.

He's class. If you didn't know better, easy to think he's the ex-Real Madrid player

Could have done with a second and the bar codes did have one chance early on but a good first half. Hopefully bang in a few more as the Toons tire. Come on City!

I think he did. Just. The swerve of the ball changed.

That’s the way I saw it.
The spin after it bounced suggests he glanced it.

83 per cent possession I see somewhere. A PL record for one complete half?

better. Delph offers nothing going forward from LB.

this is the best Zinchenko has been at LB all season

83% possession and 10 corners. That's crazy for one half of football

Newcastle trying the same as they did at home.
I’d be surprised if they get away with 1-0 this time around.
I think the rotation of the front three late in the half started to pull them apart and I think an early second goal could see them cave in.

That’s the hope anyway.

Not sure whether it’s a confidence issue with Serg at the moment. After his goal he started to get in to the match and show for his team mates.

Maybe he just needs a run of a few goals and he’ll be back to his best?

Newcastle should be ashamed. Bristol City did a better job on us than Newcastle have in both their matches with us this season.

Don’t know about you lot, but I’ve got Given and Bellers in the studio and that’s probably the best pair I can recall seeing. Both played for both teams and both fairly balanced. Enjoyed half time for once.
