Actually no, according to the BBC site. If PSG beat Red Star then the dippers go through with a 1-0 win on goal difference (head to head would be the same).

2-1 though and they go out because of the away goal.

Not a dead rubber then ?

Far from it. Just watched the aftermatch and by fuck the narrative was far more positive, it was almost ecstatic from Riise, CamelGob and Owen. It was the ref that let the Dippers down, not the lack of shots on goal, and they salavated at the thought that it seemed a formality that they'd stuff Napoli. What was the score from the away game?

Only CamelGob had a slight reservation, which I expected more, but eh-oh, it seems like they already know the outcome so may be they've been given the nod by UEFA, just like last season.

Ps. I did chuckle when the BT pundits said that to get through the Dippers had a 'Final' game at Anfield. I was just wondering how they've done in their 'Final' games under Klopp?

Or how well Klopp has done in finals throughout his career. Was also a bit rich how they went on that Verratti should have gotten a red but completely missed the penalty on Neymar.

Bonus idiot point go to micky owen, who said the dippers aren't scoring as much because their defense had gotten better; in a game that they gave up 2 goals and PSG could have had 4 or 5.

I really hope that they will try the same abuse they did with us, with the bus and everything. It will be fun to watch with the history the Napoli fans have behind them.

Funny to hear klopp complaining about PSG diving when his own team is up to this:

not surprised though. both klopp and the dippers have always been massive hypocrites.

Thought I'd switch to the Cardiff v Wolves game and can't believe how much it's turned into a Warnock Wankathon.

Turned out to be very much a Championship game after Cardiff brought Wolves down to their level. Entertaining in its own way.

Cardiff out of the bottom three as it stands. Cat amongst the pidgeons for a couple of clubs who thought they’d be safe
