I really wish that Pep would sit the players down--defenders especially--and tell them to stop shooting from ~20-25 yards. there are very few in our squad who can even keep it down and its just a waste of possession.

I think, after Laporte, Danilo might be our defender with the best ball control and crosses. He has that touch, always his shots look dangerous, and that goal at Burnley goal comes to mind.

I disagree. Crosses, yes....but his shots are awful more often than not. i know he scored a free kick but that was from a dead ball and he did score one other long range shot but that's far less than the wayward shots he sends into row z most of the time.

I actually find Walker the way you described, with balls going in row Z. Usually when he gets ready to cross a ball, looks like he is playing dodgeball
Anyhow, I might be biased, I like what Dani brings when he is used in his position, both in the defence and in the offence.
