Once Phil is on, his chances will increase immensely....

Maybe not

For the money we paid and the output we’ve got, I can’t think of a worse signing we’ve made. Him and Mangala are leading the way surely?

That will do

Another clean sheet and the pairing of Laporte and Dias is getting stronger with each passing game

Good win.
Dias and Laporte together look like they are really working. Now a proper left back.

Get in. A really grown up game from us and our defensive set-up is showing that Pep has understood that we can’t just keep sending everybody up only for them hoof the ball over the top to a runner.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

We looked flat on our feet for most of that second half.

Only two points behind dippers on level games, next week could be pivotal

Solid performance. Very happy with that.
We made enough chances to score 4/5, hopefully we won’t miss these against the dippers.

I wouldn't say flat on our feet, I think we changed down a gear for large parts, bearing in mind most of these are playing twice a week, conserving energy was part of the game plan.

Three points and a clean sheet, cannot complain too much but that was a hard match to watch. Mahrez with another awful performance which begs the question what is Pep thinking ??
