Quick update on my trip to the Etihad this morning. We got there at 10.30am, and it wasn’t that busy. The couple in front of us tried to get in using their e-ticket on the phone, and it wasn’t working (they just let them through). My ticket on my phone didn’t work because it said it was expired. This was a ticket issued by City, for the event today! They just let us in as well. There is signage all around the ground for e-ticketing, and it looks like they are just finishing installing the safe standing area. I’m not at all confident this new method is going to work on match day, I’m just going to get there early

Match day is going to a be joke I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near a que when all the piss heads turn up .
