This doing the rounds on City xtra.

"We've got super Guardiolaaaaa"
"He knows exactly what we need"
"Dias at the back"
"Haaland in attack"
"City's gonna win the Champions league".
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Looking at Sergio, KDB or Sterling, big names before coming here, but as big as his?

Robinho is still the biggest name imo.

mikhail kavelashvili is a pretty big name

Daily Mail running that Haaland will, at £500k a week, become the highest paid player in the Prem.

Have I missed something? Even if he gets £500k a week there’s a few more players on more than him - Ronaldo is on £1m a week pre-tax ffs!

Their take will be that ladyboy will be gone next season, so Haarand will be top paid player - giving them a stick to beat us with. How many negstive reports have they written about Ronaldo's wages? Or Sanchez before him? Let me know when you find one......

I read that when it kicked off with Zouma and he was fined for booting that cat and his wages revealed, a lot of West Ham players were pissed off about how much he was getting. It was mentioned Antonio, a player that’s never scored more than 10 goals a season in the Prem is on £100k a week!!!! They need to focus on that because it’s absolutely ridiculous money for such a poor player.

Sam Lee will say, “Yeah I knew about this but I didn’t want to confirm it. I knew 4 years ago he was joining City.”

No here we go from Fabrizio Romano yet. He tends to be very cautious so I’ll take it from him. With Haaland and Alvarez we’ll be a very different proposition next year. Ornstein suggesting Pogba turned us down. I doubt we were interested. Where would he fit in? He’s no replacement for Fernandinho.

RE: Pogba - Gundo one year left on his contract. Fern leaving. Bernardo likely going. We’ll be short on bodies in the middle potentially. Pogba would be around the same age as Fern and Walker when they came to City.

I personally wouldn’t go for him, but if that’s what Pep wants then so be it.

If he is coming, it will not be announced until the PL title is decided. To distracting.
An announcement the day before the CL final would be nice.

It won’t be announced by us. There’s nothing to stop Dortmund being sly and leaking it. Judging by all the noises coming from them already - “We’ve never seen a salary so high for a player like the one from City for Haaland” I’d imagine they’ll leak it ASAP

Pogba wouldn’t be a replacement for either Fernandinho or Bernardo. Nowhere near the same player. I suspect City were happy to go along with the suggestion they might be interested post the Real match. Moves the story on. Doubt there was anything in it. His wage demands would be very high he’s 29 and his attitude is hardly always the greatest. He’s a good player but we’ll be looking for a more defensive midfielder. Couple of excellent French possibilities.
