And when it comes it's just so fucking easy.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Laporte is fit, Akanji should never be ahead of him
Akanji is a real liability. I cannot understand the praise.

Not good this, so far.
Laporte had made plenty of mistakes in big games. Loads of people wanted Stones out a season or two back and now he's one of our best defenders. Ake was total crap his first season and a half with us.
We are talking about the present - Akanji is a back passing average defender. Laporte is better than him and so is Walker .
Laporte hasn't played for ever so that is pure speculation if you are talking about the present.

There must be a reason Pep isn't playing him. Either he's not performing in training, or he is showing poor attitude. Or both.
He's a better passer going forward and in the air. If Dias gets injured and have to rely on Akanji o lead the line, we're fucked

I mentioned it in another thread but even though we did relatively fuck all in that first half, we were a cut and a half above the shit Bayern put up today. It doesn't seem it but we've been exceptional except in the last third. Yet against Bayern we'll do a lot better.

Fantastic timing. I think we will walk this in the second half now. Had wr gone to tea at 0-0, I'd seriously been worried.

That might well be the case, but Laporte is still frozen out for a reason. Good riddance, I say.

That is 100 Premier League assists for Kevin De Bruyne. He joins Giggs, Fabregas, Rooney and Lampard as those that are in the 100 club.

Decent. Very decent. In far fewer games than the others

Re Akanji.
Agree he is not the best out there, but he looks like he is a fella that has his head and heart in the right place, stays fit and doesn’t moan and suspect he is working his ass off in training.
I think that is enough for me
He is a great squad player to have when Stones and Laporte are players that can’t be trusted.

From the Rednapps assessment I'd think we had about 10 percent possession and snatched a sneaky goal

That's pretty much my take. I just get riled up when he's made into the next scapegoat/boo boy. He's not world class, but some of the stuff he's picked on, is just ridiculous.

Tuchel will make the mistake of trying to defend and Bayern cannot defend . The goalie . Swiss National player operates in panic mode - only there because Neuer did himself in Skiing ( Never a pastime for pro footballers , it demands so much on your knees).

Bayern got lucky today .

Me too and I think there's a right foot left foot thing going on. Laporte is left and would make a different balance
