Cant quote my own post but fair play! Got away with jt and they played well.

Does pep actually think

Fvardiol will be fit
Ait nouri will play well
Foden will play well
Savinho will do one good thing

All at once?

So close that just one of our many fuck ups (spurs twice, Everton, Chelsea, rags) or bent decisions (arsenal every game, Newcastle against us etc) has us champions.

We had a decent win tonight but i'm now watching River Plate vs Gimnasia , quarter final. Fuck me what s game. Lightning fast, not many chances but skillful fast passing from both sides, tough tackles, and a superb goal from River Plate.
The Premier League is way behind.
Can't think why Echeverri would want to leave River plate. Must be thinking it was a bad career move

Corners for City and Palace all were played without any rough stuff. No pushing and shoving. I doubt the Arse will do the same against Burnley

Be interesting to see how that works in that game. With the (un) happy hammers have written to complain, you'd think our friends at PIGMOL would be all over any incidents. Be funny if one decisive one goes against the arse but not holding my breath

Cherki on the bench was perfect. He sees Foden smash it and then comes on and gets an assist and plays a quality flick to Savio at the end as well.

Spot on

I don't think Pep can see Foden and Cherki in the same 11.
I saw a big improvement with Phil in his Everton cameo, he came on against Brentford and was great after Cherki had been poor and last night 2 assists and MOTM. Like you say Cherki was class when he came on.
Big bonus having Gvardiol back as well earlier than anyone expected, the guy oozes class.
Only disappointment for me last night was Ait Nouri.

Worried about Aït Nouri. Doesn't look like he's anywhere near our level. But happy to give him another season as he's been in and out of the team. At least he was only £30m

Reminds me a bit of Mahrez's first season - few classy touches but minimal end product - as soon as he cut out some of the unnecessary stuff and 'got it' he was vital to us. Let's hope Ait Nouri season 2 does the same.

Hopefully Palace was resting. If they act like yesterday the Arses and Legohead will have a field day.
Burnley is on the beach.
