Balotelli was a fuckign fruit cake and Tevez WANTED to leave...the Spanish guys saved us 27 million pounds on Tevez and 19 million from Baloteli....great piece of business.

They brought in a regular Spanish International winger (which we need) and an excellent Brasilian midfielder that has proved himself in europe and can obviously handle harsh weather conditions coming from the Ukrain (Certainly made Chelsea players looking like tits).

Totally agree with Carl.

Other clubs are only just beginning to start to move and we have already signed 50 million worth of talent. The panic on the forums is completely unfounded.

Chill the fuck out and let the whole window unfold before throwing a paddy.

RM have already moved onto Bale. We will not be the last to be spanked by them this summer.

And spanked we have been - Isco has gone for £23m when his buyout clause was £30m and the "Lifelong Barcelona fan" who apparently wanted to do the best thing for Malaga has joined Madrid in the week Pelegrini started work at City. He is joining a club where he may not get many games because of the players Real Madrid already have or are about to sign.

It is done -it is finished -I know that ranting will not make a jot of difference but I would be intrigued to know what went wrong?

RM were always in the running, there were plenty of reports back December / January that they wanted him. Our only chance really was the Falcon, but the lure of the whole package from RM was just too much as Ted and others have said.

RM probably the biggest club side in the world, bit of a no brainier really.

With the MF they have, I did not see him as a priority signing for them as you say RM big draw, why so public from us when it is a no brainer. onwards we go.

Real Madrid, particularly under Perez, have a habit of stocking up players. They are definitely after one of Suarez or Cavani or both. I am pretty sure that it is RM who is trying to unsettle Mata at Chelsea, since I think it was Marca which first said that Mou wants to sell him and they might consider it a matter of pride to bring him back like Barca brought back Fabregas. If they think that a player will sell shirts, they will buy him whether they need him or not.

I would wish Isco luck but Madrid can go to the gutter. They will survive FFP by just selling their assets at inflated prices to the govt. or siphoning of the TV revenue and twatini won't bat an eyelid. Blatant corruption. Why did we sign a "pact" with a club like this?

Where is the evidence for this?

This is not aimed just at you, but how do we save 27 million quid on Tevez? We will need to bring in a replacement and although his wages won't both Carlos's level, it sure will reduce the amount of money we "save" on letting him go.

In the same way that we "made" €20m by selling Mario but then spent the money to get Navas. It's how you keep track of the books.

They way I see it we only "save" the transfer fee (since he would go for free next year) and the difference between Carlito's wages and the direct replacement's. But maybe I'm over simplifying it.

Rumours doing the rounds that Isco's Dad got a 10m euro bung from Perez to seal the deal.

The Hazard situation all over again, if true.

Just think it's a matter of perspective, not over or under simplifying it. But I seriously doubt that the next striker we sign will be on anything close to Tevez's wages.

I'm mixed since Tevez had a knack of showing up, working hard, and scoring important goals when the rest of the team was having an off day. But at the same time he is a migraine to deal with. 2 months to look for someone else, will be interesting.

Because, apparently, these geezers built Barcelona from the ground up, not only the club, but the city as well! They then opened La Masia & nurtured Messi, Xavi, Iniesta et al. in their wombs, all the while making millions* for the club. They did this all on their own, didn't you know?

*which they mostly tossed away in the transfer market

I've heard at bluemoon that Reus' clause can only be activated in 2014. Is it true?

Not heard that. But we can still bid for him whenever his clause can be activated.
