Don't think he'll drop a division just yet. If i followed Newcastle or Spuds i'd be concerned. Very fuckin concerned. Villa might be an upgrade or WBA. Even hammers would probably keep BFS over gollum? Walmai?

You would think that Levy would be putting a considerable amount of time and reflection into making his next appointment. He has failed dismally thus far and sacked the one manager who seemed to do ok. Moyes would present a gamble. Ashley on the other hand does not seem to think things through and would probably leap at appointing Moyes just as soon as he can negotiate Pardew out of his 30 year contract.

I work with a newcastle fan and he said if he was ashley he'd fire pardew and get moyes. I think, with reasonable investment, he could take them slightly further than the silver headcase

I really hope united win all their remaining games and the same hype machine that got behind Moyes backs Giggs for the role full time. Then the ride can start again next season :)

Be careful . What is in effect happening is that whiskey is making a quiet , pseudo-comeback, not as the dressing-room hairdryer, but he'll be quietly pulling the strings from upstairs. He's already veto'd Kean (pity!). A background "Godfather" figure. United might decide to stick with this arrangement, and it could turn out well for them (and cheaper than getting LVG).

Pity we couldn't insert Agent Kean - he could have done some more damage.

Tbf, Giggs as Utd manager would probably be a lot less cuntish than the usual suspects. He does all the typical Utd propaganda of course, but he is generally a lot more respectful, for example regarding City, doesn't have the same simmering hatred as the Ferguson/Ke**e/Ferdinand gobshite types & doesn't shit stir to the same level. Scholes is similar & is a sharp fucker as well. Doubt either will go out of their way to create hatred in the way Ferguson/Mourinho do.

For that reason, I can't see them having a cat in hell's chance of succeeding there. If you look back over the years, since Busby; they try a normal, honest, football man for a short while, then sack him for a loud mouthed, obnoxious, cunt, every time. The cunt then remains in charge for a period & the club feels at home with him/it. Then if they don't win the league, they sack that cunt & begin trials for the next one. Moyes was probably too slow to get into his true cunt mode. Had he shouted his mouth off & bullshitted more, slagged everyone else off & created trouble between Utd & others, the players & fans would have got behind him.

Can't see Giggs doing that, so the whole attitude of the club would have to change if he were to stay in charge.

Giggs, has a 5 point plan to get the smile back on his face.

1. Hooters are to open in the players lounge
2. Lap Dancers will join the players for a pre-match warm up
3. He will look at the wives and girlfriends fitness
4. United will Tour Amsterdam Not the USA in the summer
5. Hooters to open in the in the players lounge

Tbf,I don't think any United managers have been particularly objectionable apart from Ferguson. Sexton was Ok , Docherty was OK.
Atkinson could be a bit of a p*k sometimes , but not as bad as the Govan drunkard.

Docherty was as big or even more of a cunt than Ferguson.

He was one of the biggest reasons for the hatred between City & Utd being ramped up to another level. Atkison was a total gobshite.

Sexton was just there to fill a gap whilst they searched around for the right big mouthed twat. He was never rated by rags fans & never really seemed to be in charge & couldn't motivate the club. They need gobshites in order to reach their optimum level.

Looks like Moyes was treated like every other club treats their outgoing manager. Where's this 'United Way' now, I thought they didn't sack managers and always dealt with issues with class and humility?

Well, it seems Moyes was left hanging, similar to Hughes. The Board had already made the decision prior to the Everton game but still made him go out there. And think about it, if the board knew, Taggart knew, and more than probably, some of the players knew.

Then, Woodward didn't have the balls to tell him on the Monday, even though Moyes asked for a meeting, knowing that it was all over the media. He decides to call Taggart, the man who give him the chance and long-time friend and mentor. Did Taggart answer, did Taggart get back to him or did Taggart leave him to fester and not bother his arse?

I think we all know that answer.

So, the next time somebody starts gobbing off about the 'United Way', please ensure you bring them back down to earth with an unequivocal 'Bollocks, you're the same as everybody else, probably worse'. Then, maybe mention how they need to spend the 200 million that they never spend, they bring them through organically remember.

Not only this, but winning all their games might get them UEFA Cup - with compulsory ticket purchases included in ST prices for this competition, ST sales would plummet, making income for a squad rebuild even harder to get hold of.

Seen the comment by Moyes that club waited to fire him to save cash? Why not much has been made of this in the media??

What he was referring to was should they sack him say in Dec to bring someone else in to maybe salvage the season, they didn't because firing Moyes would have been more expensive as he had a 6 year contract ... and the cheapos waited till they absolutely were guaranteed to not make the 4th spot (mathematically, post Everton loss) as that triggered the clause in his contract in which they can rid him cheap(er) ...
