Ric, we won 14-3 I think.

You know I fucked up my ribs? Well, I got fouled an landed on the exact spot where my ribs are bruised, needless to say it now hurts to breathe, drive, everything. Worse than before.

Jerome also fucked himself up. Limped off.

Lee bagged a goal, maybe even two according to the dint in his boot!!

I hope so but I just don't know, landing on it tonight has really fucked me up. Not gonna play any sports for the rest of the week an see what happens.

They had a good keeper tonight, if they didn't we woulda scored easily 25 I reckon.

That was enjoyable.

Best performance I've seen, you missed out there Rick! Mark was like a man possessed when he had a sniff of reaching your target,he even claimed one that the keeper threw into his own net!

Hard to single any one player out tonight, everyone was mint. Their best player on the night was the woodwork, who kept out at least five otherwise certain goals.

Can't believe we only scored fourteen though. No, literally. In fact I don't believe it. We need give to Ahab the ref an abacus or something. Maybe some piece of scrimshaw he can scratch notches in.

Mini WW said that Lee got 2, you got 6, Jerome got 1, Roger got 1 and Chris got 4 I think?!

You should be cool for next week shouldnt you?

Im defo there next week.

Well bloody miniWW was wrong because I got three. Dint in his boot my arse. He should be too ashamed of waving his leg and missing that defence splitting pass altogether to try and claim anything.
It was a really good performance all round, we actually looked like we knew what we were doing for the most part. there were less two on one situations conceded. I certainly felt like i was seeing the game better and I'm sure every one of us came off feeling the same. Danny had a blinding game last night. On the other hand that mob was the one we beat 20 - 8 last time out and really aren't very good. But it was pleasing to be more organised and so much harder to score against. And the ref is pretty poor at adding up, not for the first time I should add. Did you also notice how many 'over head height' he let them get away with once we were battering them.
Anyway superb effort and I'm sure somebody will post an updated table and what is needed next week. Has anybody found out whether one or two teams go up yet?

next season starts on 16th August

I told them we will not be available for Monday 23rd as we play liverpool, I think she thought I was talking about our 5-a-side team were playing liverpool, bless her.

We need to give 3 dates for a re-arranged fixture or forego this one as a cancellation as we are allowed 1 per season.
Can everyone do a wednesday as Europa leagues are a thursday? Please give me some ideas of what you can do for the re-arranged fixture.

We need the registration fees in next week for the following season, I will get the exact prices during the week.

OK gents we are allowed 1 cancellation per season where we dont have to pay pay for the pitch, but we incur a 10-0 loss.

Therefore I suggest we keep that in the bag for a rainy day and play it the next day if possible. We have to give 3 dates as options, I can do anytime so I suggest the following for our re-arranged dates, none clash with City:

Tuesday 24th Aug
Wednesday 25th Aug
Thursday 2nd September

I have also checked and the Liverpool game is the only Monday night game that has been scheduled so far.

The new season starts on 16th August so I will start a new thread with a new seasons fixtures, Results and Table.

Its £2 reg fee per player for the new season, so bring your £2 next week, it will be £7 per player.

Let me know your availability for next week and whether you have a problem making any of the above dates.

Im going to the hospital to get my ankle checked out its alot worse this morning and is swollen. Im struggling to walk on it now too, hope nothing too serious. But was a great game last night even though they wasnt very good and we wont get that time and space against better teams. But its good for the confidence and before i played with you all i was unsure how good/bad we would be but we are pretty decent.
