CityGer cashes in!!!!!!!!! Nice.. Happy enough with that half. Boateng is proving a solid attacking threat. I'd like to see Jo get involved a bit more as he seems to be causing a few problems. I'd also like Silva to get the ball at feet when the defence is set as I feel he can unpick them.

I reckon we've got a few more goals in us in the second half.

West Ham definitively proving they are better than their record. No surprises. But did any of you think we could have kept possession more and created more chances ( Balotelli? )

Great attacking gamble by Bob has worked brilliantly, put WH on the backfoot & got us the goal. If we had a striker who could be arsed trying to actually get into scoring positions & nick a goal we'd have 2 or 3.

If it wasn't for the fact that we all know how talented Balotelli was, we'd be hanging him now. That's one of the worst 45 mins I've seen from a striker since Gerry Creaney. It's one thing being that ineffective when the team's getting battered but to be that invisible when we practically own the ball, is fucking pathetic. Either get involved & show us what you can do or get off the fucking pitch Balo.

Yeah, I did forget... well in CityGer!
Not so impressed by Jerome, Dazza. Still quite far from good match form, imo.

What the fuck are you talking about? 8 games 5 goals, and very very nearly scored 2 more so far today.

A few warning signs that we must heed - need a bit more from Mario or we´ll have to move Jo into the centre and bring on AJ/Milner - very important 45 coming up

Full backs a concern, 3 decent crosses allowed in, that shot after the fella wnet passed boateng was a worry. city playing the right sort of stuff, a 2nd would seal this game. But WHU are far from crap, imho. A 2nd is imperative.

Looks like he is not doing anything and still almost scored two... the pain in all this is how well he could be if he actually applied himself!

You have quite a point Ted... still polished the post at the beginning and that headball was cleared in style, too.
Not the best of his perfomances so far, I agree.

So far so good. Not a great performance but we're doing the job. Balotelli's been worryingly quiet apart from that great header. Expect him to explode with a goal or two in the 2nd H. Jo started brightly but has faded. Maybe time for AJ to come on.

Boateng's playing quite well in my book. Definitely more adventurous than he has been.

1 Arsenal 16 16 32
2 Man City 17 10 32
3 Man Utd 15 19 31
4 Chelsea 16 19 30

Pivotal we push on and secure this at end of day.

Piquionne has shown he has the beating of our defence in the air. Grant will be telling them to give him better service.

From the BBC Website:
Man City don't get many goals, but they have almost got a second at Upton Park. David Silva's corner is met by Mario Balotelli but his header is cleared off the line.

I text in mentioning how we're the 2nd highest away scorers in the league but they're yet to show that text

I wonder what did they tell Tomkins prior to the game. He's having a terrific game against Mario unfortunately
