Absolutely gutted too read this, despite the result today, this has ruined my weekend, and i would guess many others on here, I wish him the best for the future, and a big thank you for everything he has done, really really gutted to be honest.

And if its confirmed as true and he plays and scores will you cheer the goal, boo the goal, stand motionless? Cognitive dissonance. I think its time for bed and see what morning brings. Fuck me, level on points at the top eh?!

IF Tevez leaves I don't believe it will be in January. If he is not happy he has to go that is what anyone else would do if they could. Chances are he will stay until the summer and he will try his bollocks of for us until the last second he is here.

What he has done for City is beyond measure, if he leaves after two seasons then it will be a great shame but if he stays until the end of the season we will have come a long way and will be better set to find a replacement. If he goes then I would be interested to know his true motivation, there have been plenty who have fired parting shots so far but mostly players who have not made the cut.

The money at Manchester City is not healthy, that much is clear it certainly isn't the answer to everything.

Not really mate, we're top of the league without him. What's he done for our club?

No disrespect mate, but without Carlo's goals we wouldn't of got wins at Chelsea,Bolton,Blackpool, and Wigan.

If he wants to go, I'd say keep him as a MCFC player and let him go home. We don't need the bloody money anyway.

It could just as easy be said tha without the players around him he would not be scoring those goals.

It's not the money.

Rifts with Mancini have been reported for a long time but it's never caused him to hand in a transfer request, so unless something major has happened early this week, which I'm guessing from the training reports/website interviews isn't the case then there is no reason this couldn't have waited until January or the summer.

Doesn't add up for me.

The timing is odd for several reasons

1) Official interview on site followed by transfer request makes Tevez look a total cunt in the eyes of a lot of fans.
2) The news is leaked the day we hit the top of the table and are playing well with Kiddo giving Mancini the big build up after the game which just happens to be the one game we played without Tevez and his goals.

Ideally from Tevez and his agents point of view the time to do this is when City are less than convincing with Tevez having just banged in a brace or two - this is especially so if its just more money he is after (which I don't think it is). Mancini's position at the top of the table with the Jan transfer window round the corner is pretty solid at the moment so the impact is reduced on the club and Mancini making it all a bit odd(ish).

Ah well weird shit happens and people are odd as a rule and fuck it he isn't the only striker in the world so one with less drama queen tendencies would be nice.

Is there any particular reason why Bobby didn't do the after match interview today?

Carlos is being a bit silly if all this is true, but hey ho, this is the City I have always loved and will carry on loving regardless of who plays, manages, owns etc...

The timing does seem strange after this weeks interview, part of me hoping that the press really don't want City at the top table; on the other hand this has gone through the roof, similar to the shrek story' which turned out to be true........

Bobby flew back to Italy, I am assuming because of the situation with his Dad.
