At least we're creating chances. Wont be long before we score. Hope to see Kun on early in the 2nd half.

We need to show a lot more composure when we have the ball - obviously this isn't easy with the way Porto are pressing us so high up the pitch - and we need to start pressing Porto and putting them under a lot more pressure when in possession. Balotelli looks isolated up front on his own - you can tell quite early on in a game if it's going to be his game or not and first impressions suggest not

Hulk is nicknamed Hulk because apparently he looks like Ferrigno. Obviously that would be true if the Porto Hulk put on about 40 pounds of muscle and grew to 6'5.

Anyway balo has had loads of the ball hasn't he. All them long balls are paying off. We'll win this 6-1 eaaasyyyyyyyy. He doesn't need someone up top with him for support or anything as he is fucking terrorising them.

So we can't get the ball to Mario, so the solution is to take off a midfielder?

I'm not saying we're playing well, but that is down to the players not the system. They need to get a grip in midfield, press without the ball and keep it when we get it. The long balls don't work, but with 5 in midfield, why were we doing it? that's nothing to do with the number of forwards and everything to do with the midfield playing badly

We cant get the ball to the strikers as we are too narrow, completely strangled in the midfield far too many bodies clustered in the centre with no out on the wings to stretch play and create the space

Yaya deeper, allowing silva and Nasri more freedom to support Mario. Looks better already. Another 10 minutes then Aguero for Nasri

Since he started the job of manager, he played in Europe only with us and Inter and he managed to win 28 games, 11 games ended with a draw and he lost 12. Imho, this is a poor situation for him, looking at what teams he managed so far.
All in all, we need to start perform in Europe if we want to grow as a club and make the next step, after the way we looked in the past three years in England.
I don't know what will happend in the second half, but it doesn't change anything to the fact that we must perform and most of all, we must perform in front of a Porto team that is a shadow of what was last year.

He also managed Lazio in Europe, reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in 2003. He was knocked out by Porto, losing the away leg 4-1.

After playing with Sturm Graz, Xanthi Skoda, etc and beside that, in that season the rumors were that the real manager of Lazio was Fernando Orsi, Mancini was brought just to calm the supporters down after the club went bankrupt. But still, he managed to do lead them that far in the competition.

We haven't got wingers and never play with them. Width should come from fullbacks, but they're struggling to get forward
