In order for the rags to drop points, someone other than us has to actually play against them without handing them goals, or going to pieces. Norwich last week, took over the game, scored a deserved & predictable equaliser, then shat themselves when they equalised. They were in a position to ctually win it but immediately the whole team lost it's shape because the magnitude of actually beating Utd was too much for them & they went into hysterics. They will go hell for leather v us & we will have to play really well to win. Similarly Swansea (who dominated but missed an open net v rags).

Most of the teams Utd have left, are of that type. My only hope for them dropping points is that a couple of the teams may be so focused on avoiding relegation, that they forget they are playing Utd & just get stuck in.

I think more than anything its the mental aspect of the game thats the stumbling block for so many sides against United.Although they are nowhere near the level now compared to some of Fergusons better sides they are still afforded great respect by far too many.Teams just tend to bottle it as they treat playing United as a big occasion.

Some teams just don't try, but others, like Norwich last week & Spurs today, try their hardest, but their decision making goes to pieces. you would think that they would become extra vigilant but they don't, the opposite happens & they forget to do simple things. We were exactly the same when we were shit; Giggs would show us the short corner routine but we'd still fall for it again five more times, because we weren't thinking straight. That's why Spurs fucked up elementary defending today.

The rags are used to teams doing that & know how to exploit it. They are playing a totally different game to us.

Really? Losing 3-1 is reward for being the better team and having a goal disallowed which turned the game?.

Laughed my ass off when i heard this, reward would be getting points not losing.what a crock of shit

After winning the league a few times, teams will start laying down for us. Chelsea had a very tough first Prem title winning season, in fact we were the only side that took 3 points off them! This is football.

No surprises today. Let's face it spurs would have had to have been at full strength to even get close to holding out for 90mins. That said they are still a bunch of wimps and Rednapp is clueless.

Anyway hadn't expected anything other than rags win today.. was hoping for a draw.

The rags are more likely to slip up v struggling team on a bad run to be honest.

City have got to just pile it on now, go for the win in every game and never never give up. I rekon the CL taught us some lessons that sank in. It could be edge of the seat in a few games yet but I think the players have the mettle now.

I expected the Rags to get a draw at best to be honest. Cannot fucking believe they won this one too.

I am really starting to wonder if they will drop any more points at all in the remaining games (apart from the game against us hopefully)... which means we have to win all our remaining games really.... and our fixture list does not look easy.

No games are easy but why such the worry? Swansea away, a team who we beat 4-0 at the start of the season and are sitting in 14th? What about Norwich, who didn't turn-up at ours and we ran out 5-1 victors; don't they sit in 11th?

These are the clubs that I keep seeing on here but they aren't the only ones we should take seriously, and I'm sure Mancini and the boys won't. We've both got run-in's that'll see plenty of twists and turns but te difference is that we seem to be doing it in a professional canter while they seem to struggle at times. Don't get me wrong though, the Rags are doing something special this season, it's just that we keep doing something Extra Special, and that's what I think we will continue to do.

It shouldn't be football, it's shit.

(I don't think Spurs lay down incidentally, they just lost concentration because of rag fever.)

I don't want a future of us swanning around playing mediocre shite & teams handing us points because they're nervous about playing us, I want teams to threaten to beat us & I want us to have to play great football or fighting football, to respond.

This fucking shite that the rags are churning out should not be bringing the points it does, & a team challenging for the Premier League should have to play like we have been doing, not like they have been doing.

For a team to turn up with a fucking pensioner in midfield, a mid table centre forward, a keeper who can't catch a fucking cross, the re animated zombie corpse of Duncan Edwards at right back, a useless, camel faced turd at centre back; be gifted two fucking goals by the team who is THIRD in the Premier League & hasn't lost a home game since the start of the season; it's beyond a fucking joke.

I'm watching that game thinking 'ok the rags can't string two passes together, they're panicking under pressure, no invention, second to the ball, losing most 50/50's; I wonder what Spurs will do in order to contrive to lose this...ahh there we are.'

It's doing the Premier League a disservice allowing these cunts to get away with performances like that at places like the Lane. They are second in the fucking Premier League, riding on a wave of bullshit. It's time these wankers did their duty & beat the fuckers occasionally.

It does amaze me how they look so awful and unlikely to even get a shot in, never mind score, then they end up winning. I know we are the better team.
