I really think he will be like a Vamn nisslthorse type signing for United this, maybe 29 but still got a good few years left in him.
Good signing now we need Dzetko etc to start firing, if he doesn't he should be sold.

I'm looking forward to Fellaini or Hibbert giving the Dutch funboy a proper welcome on Monday night and then rejoicing in the monthly "Owen-like" updates on his mangled knees.

The thing is, they've got Scholes, Giggs, Ferdinand & Vidic who are all suspect for one reason or another, then Fletcher, now they've signed the chairman of the Out Injured Society; if the cunts have half a team come February, they'll be blaming all it on bad luck.

At least the total outlay is being mentioned. 64 million quid. 29 and injury prone. You cant spinthat can you? Oh wait..this is scum we are talking about. A "journalist" should bring up fergusons earlier comments at the unveiling. The ones about buying young players....no harm in calling a hypocrite a hypocrite.

I can't abide RVP but i didn't want him to go to ManU. Most of the posts here are saying he's a twat (which he definitely is), that City don't need him (which they probably don't, so long as Tevez doesn't have another tantrum and Mario acts daft less often), or that he'll be hurt. And every one of you is ignoring the fact that he WILL make U****d stronger. Mancini wanted RVP, Kompany wanted RVP, so you're saying the manager and the captain are both bad judges? They wanted him for his goals and couldn't care less that blokes like me think he's a twat. He was injury-free last season and he scored the most goals in the league. It's a simple game, football, as Ken Barnes used to say, the more times you kick the ball into the net the more likely you are to win. RVP will do that for the rags and you're deluded if you think he won't. So which team will be most improved, the rags with RVP (and Vidic back), or City strengthened by an Aguero in his second season plus what looks like a new signing in a possibly settled Tevez? That's the question that decides who wins the league.

Whilst there is some truth in this, Filth didn't really have that much trouble finding the onion bag, and neither did we. That is why most City fans didn't see him as a necessary signing and many don't see him as crucial to them.
In the meantime they have redirected huge resources away from addressing their real shortcomings. (lightweight midfield and defensive frailities) And that is why it may not be such a bad thing they have signed him.
If we had got him here on a similar deal, I'm sure lots of comments would be about how we should be looking for defensive cover and compensating for Yaya's absence in January/February
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

Rags really seem to be chuffed with this. Apparently it gives them 5 of the top 15 (most people would stop at 10 but that wasn't convenient for the rags point? I LOVE STATS) "assisters" in the league last season. It beats us with a paltry 3 in the top 15 even though dave was number 1.

And here I was thinking we won the league and that was important when what we should of gone for is the most players in the assists table.

I can't wait to fucking win the league again and laugh at these daft cunts. Buying second.
