I am not happy with the stuff I did on Saturday, but I had an absolute nightmare.
I found out just before kick off that my dad had been taken into hospital just before kick off, so my mind was elsewhere.
Add to that a dozen technical problems with laptop and wifi, and I spent most of the afternoon trying to fix difficulties rather than watching the match.
Not an excuse, but looking back at the ratings, they were poor."
He seems a decent guy!
It is true the MEN has all United journos but IMO SB is trying to be professional and sympathetic to our club. He has to make a living.

No dig at you mate but if I listened to the posters on this site i'd have to avoid the following media outlets
MeN
Mirror
SUN
BBC Sports
ITV Sports
Sunday supplement
Soccer Sat
MOTD
MOTD2
SKY Sport News
Sky sports
ESPN
Bluemoon (not media but you see what i'm getting at)

Too right there are more! You missed the obvious and major one to avoid, namely the Daily Failed shit stirring cunt of a sportsreporter .... ;)

But u might wanna ask why him and spencer started a witch hunt on blues about Munich . Right after we won the FA cup semi v rags. But nothing when they started about hillsborough . Instead banging on about how bad they have had it.
He might be a nice guy, he might not. But his bias will show nomatter how professional he wants to be. I would if I reported on rag games. It's only natural.
If u wanna fall for their shit, no problem.

Stuart Brennan has sent me this pm on my BM account. I thought it would be only fair to let him make his point:
"As I said, not about to get dragged into the argument, because some people will believe black is white and cannot be convinced otherwise, no matter how many times they get put right.
But I'm not standing for the lies and drivel of leomcfc, so to address his made-up "points":
1. There was no "witch-hunt" about Munich after the semi-final. The only reference I can find in that month was a plea by Colin Bell for City fans to stop it, after a Munich chant at Blackburn, the day after a docu-drama about the crash was broadcast.
2. He calls me a rag. I no longer consider myself a United fan, and haven't done for years, the reasons are well-documented elsewhere. People who know me, Red or Blue, (and leo doesn't know anything about me) will tell you I have no bias to United and certainly no bias against City.
3. Spencer doesn't "hate City". He will tell you he is a Bury fan, but over the years, he has always been closer to City than to United. The truth is, he tried to be balanced, but some paranoid City fans, and some paranoid United fans, only hear what they want to hear and read what they want to read.
4. There have been no fall-outs, other than normal quibbles, between City and the MEN in the last two or three years. No-one, and I mean no-one, in the City press office, who monitor what we write carefully, believes that we have an anti-City or pro-Utd agenda.
5. The MEN has not changed any stance on City because we thought there had been some kind of boycott. We have no evidence that there has been a boycott.
6. For days after Utd's game at :Liverpool we printed pictures of the Munich crash? No, we didn't.
7. All the writers at the paper are rags? At a quick head count, and naming no names, there are four Blues, four Reds, one Bury, one Burnley, one FC Utd and one Wigan on the sports desk.
I don't mind criticism, and will take on board other people's opinions even when I don't agree, but people like leomcfc, who simply make stuff up to back up a poor argument, don't do themselves, or more genuine Blues, any favours at all."
