Which is exactly what Jimmy should be doing. I still think this would be his best position.

Great signing if he does come!

Last I read Soriano and Txiki have discounted this one as it's a position we have a lot of very good players. But then all press is bollox in the silly season.

I've been following all the news pretty closely and I've seen them say or intimate nothing of the sort.

Where are you getting that from?

Mata is a player. Every time I have seen him play, he looks a different class compared to the rest of the Chelsea team.
Hazard is easily outshone by him. Although I do think there is more to come from Hazard. He will want to prove a point this season so I expect his name to said a few more times than what has already been said.
Isco is also a good player. Seen him a few times and he technically very good. He won't be an instant star in the PL though IMO. He will need to time to adjust to the pace and physicality of our game. I still think we should get him if he wants to come. He can play centrally or on the wing and he can provide competition for Nasri.
I agree that mata is top player and hazard will have to work hard to match him. Although he hasnt had the best season he may come out strong next

This is my concern about the impending Pellegrini 'attacking football' plan. I'm totally for balls out attacking football but it's difficult to implement it without getting turned over from time to time. I hope he builds from a solid base & doesn't try to take liberties against the better teams.

I hope we snap this guy up, a back up center half, and a back up left back and call it a day.

From his record, when he loses, he loses big.

Makes me think of Mancini and his lack of ability to make tactical changes when it goes wrong. Hopefully not and I think us having the best defence in the league will give him more freedom to go attack without worrying too much.

I'd be curious to know as well, creation is one area we really need to cover, especially since Silva will be playing a tournament this summer.

once Pellegrini is confirmed next week hopefully this can be hashed out further: whether we want him or not.

About 15 seconds of actual play.

You could make glen Johnson look world class with a video like this.

I'd live with that if we're re signing Tevez. Otherwise we could get mugged for a 2nd rate striker next off season.
