Why the hell haven't we poached Cesar? Even Vorm would be a step up at the moment, Hart needs a kick up the arse and a few games on the bench, England number one just shows how shallow that end of the pool is.

He needs someone to genuinely compete with him. It's not happening at club level or international level. Rested on his laurels and it makes me sad as he was really up there two and three seasons ago. A top quality GK should be a priority in Jan. He needs a massive kick up his backside.

Panti should start against Everton, he can't do any worse than Hart. Too many mistakes for too long, he needs dropping immediately.

With goalkeeping like this you could almost think he may be involved in match fixing ;///

Not read all the posts but I've always supported Joe. However last night its not that it was Bayern Munich, I'd accept defeat as they are awesome but the fact is that all 3 goals were City errors.

It is time to drop him IMO

In some ways Hart is unlucky because he's the last line of defence so comes under the most scrutiny for goals. He probably does deserve to be dropped at this stage but if he is then there's a few defenders who should be joining him on the sidelines after their recent howlers.

Of the five that started last night (Hart, Richards, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy), I'd drop all but Kompany and bring in Pantilimon, Lescott, Zabaleta and Kolarov for the Everton game.

Making Hart the sole fall guy could shatter his confidence for good when he is in fact just part of a bigger problem.

A pal of mine works on the doors and knows shedloads of the lads on the circuit and he tells me that it is apparently quite common knowledge behind the scenes that Joe has been drinking far too much booze for quite some time. Makes sense when you see how his performances have dropped in the last year or so.

As others have already mentioned, if players in other positions had such a drop in form, they would be dropped or replaced (apart from lazy Yaya of course!) and Panti must be wondering if he will ever get his chance. Now is the time methinks and I will be surprised and disappointed if Panti doesn't play against Neverton this week.

Pellers needs to stamp his authority quickly or he will be undermined.

I've not been an advocate of dropping Hart & I agree with you about the defence, however, who was responsible for shooing the cbs up the pitch & constantly humping the ball to Bayern last night ? If it was under instruction from the Count, then the Count is a knob.

If, as I believe, Hart bottled it & would not risk us playing out from the back because he was scared Bayern would nick the ball; that isn't his decision to make & he should be dropped.

Imo, the main reason Hughes sent him off to Birmingham was because he & Richard Dunne kept hoofing the ball down the middle of the pitch & giving it away. Shay Given passes it out. Getting Hart away gave him chance to work on passing from the back & Hart to learn his trade. His distribution is still fucking horrible.

If the drinking things a reason then surely all these medical folks we have at the club and the management should be picking up on it and reeling him in? Plenty time for all that Joe when there isnt an aspiring team and england squad needing you to be at your best.

What I dont get and the only conclusion I can think of is obscene amounts of money and fame, is that if you and I woke up to read all the negative press and people screaming out on places like here that you're dropping a bollock. The surely you would be having a reality check and upping you're game. Unless the ker ching ker ching of money desensitises you to this.

Its ok Pelligrini saying he has faith in him and am sure that's used as a confidence and morale booster but sure to fuck he needs to be made accountable.for his stupid costly errors. The rest of us in our occupations would be brought in to justify it.

Also there is valid point that he his not been pushed.for his place. Frig knows why and that must make Panti feel like shit and do him no good.

If we as fans, the media and opposing fans can see that he's making one to many fuck ups, why can the club not see this?

Coming out if the game last night I heard lots of fans arguing passionately for Pantilimon to get a game. Didn't hear a single one say stick with Joe.

Same here pal. I said it myself to a few blokes sat near me and they totally agreed. Joe is costing us games time for him to become a bench warmer for a bit.

What are you all talking about? Look how tiny Lahm is & in a pool of red shirts, the ball landed right on his head a dozen times. Are you telling me that wasn't deliberate?

Nastasic I'll give you definitely.

Richards shouldn't have played this game so soon back and didn't play that bad.

Clichy dropped a massive clanger, but I'd really struggle to name another he's made in blue. Hart has made shit loads now.

Last night a pass to Hart from one of our players was as good as a pass to the opposition. Not solely down to Hart as they pressed us really well, but his distribution was at its worst.

As much of a clown mourinho is he would have dropped hart by now. Maybe there is someone behind the scenes telling the count to play joe?

I'm not going to defend the indefensible, those goals from Ribery and Robben were poor on Joe's part and his kicking was woeful ( although not helped by a lack of movement from the team ).

But why should he have been dropped before last night? For failing to claim two balls from corners against Cardiff?

And at its most brainless.

At times, Bayern hadn't actually picked up our players as they were having a breather, but he was too stupid to notice.

Nastasic, on the ball, was worse than Lescott has ever been last night when put under pressure btw. Like Gerry Taggart at times, so I get why Hart was nervous, but it's not his decision to change our style of play.

I am crirical of Joe Hart, he has to sort it or he is heading for a Ben Foster type of career, Decent keeper not top class. Cassilas rumour or the Malaga Keeper will see the Back 4 more in tune with how the Count wants to Play.
Hart has stopped improving and like all players when you get sussed you need to adjust. Over to him only he can sort it.
