Left arm quick bowler who they recon would have made it at least at county level.

So is my amateur cricket analysis poor in that a big strapping cunt is better suited to bowl perhaps than bat? Or am I looking for trends that don't exist in the game?

Cheers

Big strapping cunts do both tbh. You get some small ones but a lot of Cricketers are fucking huge. The ones who look 5ft 10 on the tv are often 6ft 1, because several of the others are 6ft 5 or even bigger.

Having the ball come at your throat at 90 mph delivered by some cunt who is 6ft 8, doesn't bear thinking about.

Luckily I was working away & missed every second of it. Deleted the recorded highlights when I got back.

Back on subject , though
Denayer , Inhenacho(sic) , Zucculini, all look ready for 1st XI duties.
Unal is bigger than realised= thought he was 4' 6" . Raw, some good touches , didn't get involved enough , allowed himself to be isolated at times, - but that'll change with experience, I can see a young Zlatan in there.

I've paid my dues watching England collapse, from the days of Lillie & Thompson. Nowardays I'm a gloryhunter. If they are on top in the next test, I'll try to watch most of it on recording. If not, I'll be busy doing something else.

Denayer looks classy and confident. Inhenacho looks raw but powerful reminds me of a better caicedo. The rest all had bits of class mixed with anonymity.

1st half, total football and total control - David Silva is a genius but I thought Garcia loved it too, it ws like they were kids playing with a new toy and not letting the little kids have a go.

Pleased for Sterling, he will get some confidence from that. Denayer did OK and Horsfield didnt put a foot wrong again.

Caballero proved why he will not displace Hart and Hart proved why heis a top keeper, did nothing wrong and almost got to the free kick that shithouse Kolarov should have stopped.

Why Evans and not Humphreys?

Based on today's performance he looked good, but a little inexperienced, its a little early for him he needs more experience, but he is not far away, this should be a big season for him.

Unusual needs to spend a lot of time in the gym - he's far too lightweight for senior football at the moment (at least at our level).

Just giving him minutes.

I've not had Evans down as someone who would make it at City, but some players just take to first team football & so far Evans has done so to some tune. Imo he should get some time in his proper position, not at cb, & if he looks good enough, he should get the same opportunity as the 'star' kids.

He is very lightweight but to me he looks like a poacher than a target man.

Glad to see a lot of the young uns getting game time and also seeing their progression.
