And the sad thing is things will not improve all season. We have too many shit players and will not be able to have a clear out in January.

We have a lot of players who are passed it but the manager needs to set them up accordingly, not keep trying the same tactics, getting the same results.

But it was obvious all last season and in the summer. Our defence was useless and we had a lack of strikers.

Yet instead we just stockpiled midfielders and avoided fixing the key issues.

Why aren't we even doing the basics right? THat's what's bugging me. Under Pellegrini I could sort of understand it because he was undermined and it was the last months of his reign but why is it continuing though?

Maybe the players just don't trust the tactics. Look at the first 5 minutes, the defence didn't trust to take a risky pass, understanding that it could come straight back at them. That meant our forward players didn't even get a touch until they scored.

I'll give Pep some credit if he gets us back into this, otherwise he needs a good slap from the board.
