"You cant blame the officials" - for deciding that a ball was OUT when it's been shown to be IN - get fucked you gormless cunts at BT. If in doubt, how can you possibly make the call? If you call it wrongly you take the fucking blame.

Everybody has gone quiet, probably because they all know what's going on.

Got away with that one from Navas. That makes it 2-1. Terrible refereeing all round.

At least he didn't give them a pen. In my opinion Sanches pulled Navas arm before Navas pulled Sanches's, but that usually won't stop them.

If they hadn't disallowed our perfectly good goal then they would definitely have give Arsenal a penalty there.

Sanchez was never going to get to the ball so he flopped and made it look like there was contact. Learned it at Barca from the best

Another game of football that is all about the ref. Seems like it's every other game when we're concerned and always never in our favour.

That first half must've really had an effect as the crowd went very quiet for both sides, obviously knowing what was going on. City fans will be on a downer whereas the Arse fans, who haven't seen anything from Arsenal yet, will now be surely thinking the ref is on their side and give him all the plaudits.

I've just lost another ounce of respect for the game, soon they'll be none to give.

The BBC website live text feed on the match does not mention the Sterling goal - nada, nothing!!!

and this from SKY - even Sky can't quite believe the call:

40: NO GOAL! De Bruyne slips in Sane on the left flank, who crosses in for Sterling to finish. But Sane's cross looks to have gone out of play and the assistant raises his flag. Did the ball really go out though? It looked VERY close.

Can it really be a pen when the ball is 20 feet over your head?
