Oh, the rags papers are full of ; 'ex liverpoorl' winger! Couldn't make it up. Granted, Southgate stuck by him, and played him despite the haters vying for him. His transformation is thanks to Peps coaching and the way city play. The media mob thought Sancho will steal the show tonight, they were desperate to rub it in our faces, how we don't play youth blah blah. Sterling pops up and steals the show . I have a strong feeling Gareth is immitating our style of play , the media can never bring themselves to admit it

Southgate, now there is somebody who really steals for a living.

Don't get me wrong, I think he (Southgate) is still very limited, but I was worried he was going to be another Yes Man to the FA - so far he's proved to be far from it. I really like the buzz around the England squad these days and the amount of new pomising talent that he's giving chances to (not including Henderson and Dier)- if they happen to win anything (or progress past semi's to finals) he will have played his part.

Southgate seems to have a good relationship with the players, and gives youth a chance (perhaps because of the absence of quality alternatives). My main concern is his ability to have a tactical impact when things are not going to plan in a game (as seen in the WC), but I think we should give him a chance to learn and develop the players to give himself options.

Perhaps he needs David Platt on his staff

Southgate, like Slur Alice, may well get luckily that a young decent bunch of lads are coming through at just the right time for him. He's not developed them. He's got the easiest job in the world considering how gullible England fans are!

Its fuckign laughable that an International teams manager can get any credit for any players improvement - they play once in a blue moon for their respective countries yet the hacks will have the delusional believe that they have ''nourished them into fine players'' and deserve just as much credit as their teams manager.

PeP must be thinking '' FUCK RIGHT OFF''

The same England fans that are buzzing about how these kids are developing are the same England fans that would be happy to see City and Chelsea go under. They're thick as fuck.

How can Ireland only beat Gibraltar 1-0? That’s a disgrace. Notts County would probably beat them and they’re bottom of the football league

Why are the welsh keep playing in Swansea or Cardiff, but not on the Millenium Stadium?
Saw this at the previous two qualifiers also where they could had been nice to have 6-65.000 fans supporting them.

Dutch telly just spent 10 minutes bigging Sané up, highlighting how he's Germany's biggest threat.

Ha ha ha, commentators singing Van Dicks praises and how easy he plays the game only for him to play the German player inside before getting fucked for a goal.

Why the dick jokes? His name is literally pronounced "fan dyke".
