Not blaming the full back for the goal, although it was his fault, it’s the ball over the top that caught him out (and Delph) that worries the fuck out of me.

I agree that it's a problem position and that many of the goals we've conceded have been down to personal errors. But we switched off after we scored 1-0, just like we did against Palace and Leicester. The whole team just turned to shit and allowed mediocre opponents to put is under unnecessary pressure.

I think he's a better option than Delph in games where we have 60–70 % possession, but I agree with you that he will be out of his depth against Liverpool. I think we will end up with Danilo at left back against them, which also worries me.
